I use an original r4 tho that is not whats causing my problem . im currently trying to dl it using IE as one of the above posts stated. hope this works

well i had the same problem but then i downloaded SS again and now it did work

After you patch the clean (J) HG/SS rom, take your (U) SAV file and re-name it so it's exactly the same as the patched rom's name.

excellent, since i never really use gamecorner, this will tie me over til the UK version is out of friday (buying it for the pokewalker). Anyone know if the prepatched version above is just text patched or text and AP patched?

Just how far along are the translations on it?

And do they work on both HG AND SS?

According to this thread, then entire game, with the exception of game corner, is fully translated using the US text files.

He said he pokedex etc. are still in Japanese. Since that takes time, I don't blame him. It's still the same game, works for me like a fix.

I checked his thread on gbatemp and he said Japanese images aren't translated and the next version is expected to be uploaded on Wednesday. I'm still gonna download this one for sure. Haha

Does any1 know if u download V1 then download V2 when it comes out will the same save files still work as long as they are the same name?

Rom-image crashes right after the save (Going to Ecruteak city).

It crashed for me after playing for about an hour, I had just gotten to route 38: between Olivine and Ecruteak city

Could someone please upload a prepatched rom to a site besides mediafire? The download there will not work for some reason, and the patch is not working for me. I would really appreciate some help here, thanks.
