I can't wait for this to come out. This was by far the best Pokemon generation because you had two sets of gym leaders, two regions and time progression.

Now I'm cunfused. I've see people saying that you can go to Kanto after Johto, but how far? Some say only till Vermillion City, others say you can play the entire Kanto region as well. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

 

What I will say is 100% correct, so listen closely. Yes, you can go to Kanto after you complete Johto. You can go to EVERY town in Kanto and also battle all 8 Gym leaders in Kanto.

You are also able to catch Mewtwo in the same place he's also been in previous Kanto based games.

 

Sweet! Now it's killing me even more to wait for it. It's !TWO! games in one, 3 more days of excrutiating pain await...

I just can't wait, so I just started the english-translated rom, just to 'get in'

Slim to none... there are always geniuses out there who are able to crack the anti-piracy protection... worst case scenario.. you'd have to wait two days extra...

Most American and European roms dont have protection, but some big japanese titles are known to have them.

I wouldn't worry about it for the english Heart Gold and Soul Silver...there will be a fix up in like an hour.. tops.

 

Yep. Although it took some time after the Japanese versions were leaked for the AP to be cracked... Either a similar AP will be used for the English versions, in which case it shouldn't take long, or we'll have a few extra days... Or maybe they just won't put any AP... but I wouldn't bet too highly on that... Hopefully we'll see within hours/days, as the Japanese versions were leaked two days before the games, if memory serves... *crosses fingers*

 

It may have even been 3 days. So many review magazines, websites, etc. already have the game, so hopefully somebody who will dump the game will get their hands on it soon.
