Pokemon Heart Gold & Pokemon Soul Silver

i have pokemon soul silver. i am using ez flash vi. dsi version 1.4. ez flash vi firmware 12 up and kernel rc5. i play the game and at exact 10 minutes it freezes. please reply as quick as possible. i need to fix this game because i love it. i have the english patch. give me the freeze patch so i can play it. give me a patch that will atleast make it run for 40 minutes or up!

Also, yeah, you can rename them, however, it's a bit harder getting them to say an emulator.
You'd need a save converter(Shuny's save converter, google.it?). Just making sure all the base are covered.

Well, gbatemp.net should have said fix, from a guy named Normatt, there are TONS of topics on the freeze, and about 12 'english patch' as well.
Normatt's patch/fix is drag and drop, so drag the rom to the tool and drop it on it and it should do it itself.

EDIT: Yeah, the link is to what I used to not get any more freezing issues, the patch might not work for everybody, but at least some should be able to use it(the patched rom, I mean XD).

 

I actually saw a video on youtube where this guy gave out links to download heartgold or soulsliver that is fixed. I downloaded them and have been playing, no freezes or what so ever... Problem is, i don't have the link... Maybe you guys could go youtube to search?

why link to a video that generates them revenue from RS downloads?
just grab the patch and patch the original unmodified rom yourselves BEFORE applying any 'english' patch.
It's "drag and drop", not "open, fiddle, and complain".

 

Where do you get the machine part from cerulean? I looked everywhere in the gym, but still could not find. I did not take the itemfinder as i forgot about it while in ecruteak...

I just decided to patiently to wait for the EU release. Which I'm actually gonna buy, 'cause as a kid I always wanted a pokemon tamagochi, and PokeWalker is pretty close to that.

Oh, and I came up with a way to abuse the Pokewalker as speed leveling device:
- What you need, is PokeWalker and an old washingmachine/dryer
- First you volunteer to wash some clothes. This is important stage, don't laugh. You gain points with you mum, she might even reward you with money which can be used, for example, to by the other version of the game.
- You fill the machine, place your PokeWalker on it, and then turn the machine on
- If it is old enough, it should be shaking like crazy, gaining you steps on the pedometer
- Mean while you can focus on the actual game
- I don't take resposibility on any damage on the PokeWalker, or on moms that start yacking about ecology when they notice you wash a pair of socks on the machine every day
- Don't take this seriously

And btw, has anyone already tried out how a fishpokemon looks when following the trainer?

Do you even know if it comes with the pokewalker?? It could just be a jap thing you know.

 

It seems to come with the English patch.
But I like to play games as they are meaned to be.
