I'm using DeSmuME playing soulsilver with the english patch and I have no problems at all, graphics, sound etc are perfect, the only drawback is that it crashes once every 10-20 mins so I need to save often

I'm running the game fine on No$GBA, freeze-patched, bsod-patched, and english patched.

There is some frame-lag, and the occasional black blotch where it shouldn't be, but the game works fine.

Alright, I got the No$GBA to play the game, but the saving feature ingame doesn't work, and the snapshot thing works, but when I go to load it, it crashes the ROM. Can anyone give me instructions on how to fix the save feature of the game? I don't even have a save file in the BATTERY folder, for some reason. It just freezes up when I try to save. If you could do this for me, it would be very much appreciated.

Oh, and I can run it in Desmume until I meet the girl and she(I guess) teaches me how to catch a pokemon, and then the game freezes. Any fix for this? No matter how many times I reload a saved state, it freezes right before my character steps into the grass.

I think the NO$GBA will work better at this point. >.>

Some of every gen should make an appearance. My guess is that you won't see most until after national dex.

Awwww.... That sucks.... Ive played all of the pokemon games sofar so I think I can safely say "It dosnt matter how good you make the game look or how many pokemons you make, the best way to get more people to play the game is to take off that FCUKing Flash HM because nobody like it!!"

    Its time for TRIVIA!!

1 Like Pokémon Red and Green before them, Gold and Silver have been remade with Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

2 Pokémon Gold and Silver are the only paired versions where both the version mascot of the game played and the counterpart game's version mascot are both catchable without trades.

3 Pokémon Gold and Silver are the only paired versions where Pokémon sprite designs differ between the two games, though several (but not all) of Pokémon Crystal's sprites are based on designs used in Gold and Silver.

4 Pokémon Gold and Silver started the trend of having legendary Pokémon as mascots, and the trend of using types of precious stones or metals as names, as opposed to the mascots of the previous games, which were starter Pokémon, and had their names based on colors. However, gold and silver can be considered colors as well as metals.

5 The Johto region's starters are the only set of main series starter Pokémon to remain solely their primary types of Grass, Fire, and Water throughout their evolution.

6 Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, and their remakes are the only Pokémon games which contain two regions with different names.

Does this mean we get 16 badges in total like the original??

7 None of the in-game trades in Gold and Silver feature the player trading away or receiving a Generation II Pokémon, making them the only games in which a player must link up with another player to trade Pokémon of that generation.

8 Pokémon Gold and Silver are the only games so far to have differences between the version-exclusives in the Japanese and international releases.

9 Pokémon Gold and Silver are the only versions so far to be released in Australia before the U.S.
