How long have you been playing? I freeze around once every ten minutes.

Been playing for 22 mins and had the screen go black on me the 1 time so far.
Just keep saving when you are playing just incase

I had the feeling that those freezes are regular. It isn't such a pain, cause it's quite predictable.

(Level 11 Chikorita, looking for something worth catching, how about your starters? ;D)

Hmm, could it be possible the rom is just glitchy?

I don't actually care so much about the crashes. I'm just happy the game has finally got here.

Also, this is a sign for me that I should just wait for the English version to be released.

I have to say though, after playing the game for a little over 20min, I'm very impressed by it. It's so good that I can stand the crashes, though I've only had 1 so far.

Since saving on flashcards is so fast i dont worry saving all the time, i got 1 hour and probably saved like 40 times already.

errr... i loaded soul silver from romulation on no$gba 2.5 and it freezes after you choose your name. Does this happen on r4 too? or does it work fine? Thanks a bunch. I'm asking because i'm not sure if it will work on r4, since it already doesn't work on no$gba. Thanks again.

Somebody said there are points in the game where they check you if you have a real copy of the game. Is this true?

No, that's false. Game is pretty good playable on R$. There are those crashes, but when you save often you stop worrying about them. As raysie said, it's an OUTSTANDING remake as far, as I see. Our patience is well rewarded. :)

Im using an R4 clone, N5, and it crashes every so often. I guess this is the same for all flash carts and emulators. Actually scratch that, emulators dont work at all! I think it may be the actual rom dump or maybe there is piracy protection on the game. But fear not...there is probably someone out there, someone out among the stars, working day and night to create a work-around for the game. So be patient...AGAIN.

By the way, just like everyone has been saying...save before going into a building, changing route, before battles, etc, where the screen might go black. lol...but happy gaming everyone!
