sometimes they push back the release dates to make last minute changes to the game, either to make it better, or (in CORE's case) completely trash the game

 

So your saying that we wont get to play the games until november? Because it still says on Bulbapedia that the release date is 12 of September. Oh, and I also meant the ROM release, not the game release.

 

I think it's talking about the (J) version, the (U) & (E) version don't come out till next year. & you can never tell when the ROM will be released, you just have to wait until someone dumps it.

 

Yeah I know, but if you go to https://www.romulation.org/releases/ it says the shipping date is 1st of November.

 

Unless the Romulation team have heard something different, It's still stated that release date will be September 12th, 2009. I believe the game will still be released on the stated release date. I know Pokemon, and they wouldn't set an official release date unless they were sure it would be purchasable a playable.

I'll be downloading the Japanese version just to get that Johto feeling back. I'll only play up to the 2nd town. Then it's the long wait for the English release.

 

Heh, I think I'll play the japanese version as long as I can wtih my faint memories from the orginal versions. And when I'm stuck, I'll just leave it and wait for the European release. Which I'm actually gonna buy bevause of the poke walker

There's really no guarantee that they'll be out when the game comes out. There's always that small chance that the ROM file won't be available until a while after.

I belive that are a lot of peaple with pré-order already. Maybe we get it on the same day.

 

Yeah, I know. It's very, very likely that the ROM will be available on the same day. (Maybe even earlier, like America's Platinum Version!) It's just that there's ALWAYS that .01% chance. (Not that I mean to sound negative about it.)

 

The problem will be the counter-piracy.
I bet they will make one.

I don't think there will be a Counter-Piracy in the game. Nothaing the Pokewalker is all the Anti-Piracy they need.

There isn't a Pokemon Platinum save problem for the R4. There must be a problem on your side.

it doesn't matter whether its japanese, i remember playing my crystal version shipped from japan but I finished it understanding a little bit of it and memorizing the TMs/HMs and the moves is really the hard thing about it.
