i think the legit-hehe roms will be released 2 days before japan official release (12/9/2009).the same thing happened with pokemon platinum (japan. version). So 16 days left!

 

most likely a couple days after the game is released. It depends on when a dumper can get the game and dump it for us. Do not trust the rapidshare files...only trust this site.

probably not. Just because one game comes out a couple days ahead of schedule, doesn't mean it will happen to the rest of the pokemon games.

I predicted this would happen after pokemon emerald. and i am very supprised that its taken this long for them to relize that pokemon gold and silver were awsome games and they need to be remade

 

I think it's for the better in the long run. Which would you rather have, a remake on the GBA or an even better one on the DS?

I agree, Pokemon Gold and Silver were great. They're my favorite generation out of the current four.

 

I think this is happening with pokemon First came Blue & Red in the U.s. not counting green

Then came gold and silver due to the fact it was to early to make a remake

Crystal came out as a improvent i would say

The GBA came out so then They made Ruby & Saphire

Emerld ame out wich was just a improvement

Nintendo was smart enough to "Remake A Game" So they could get some more money Since they already had all the story done and the map they added some pokemon and other details ( like the islands)

Pokemon diamond & pearl was new pokemon for the ds

Then platinum as yet a improvement to D&P

Heart gold and Soul Silver comes out as a remake

Crystal on the ds will come out

Then a new pokemon game will come out

Then the remake of Ruby Saphire And Emerld

Speaking of patterns, I had a feeling back when I first bought Diamond, before I had a flashcart, that they were going to release a 3rd installment to the current-gen. They did.

You should just anticipate a 3rd installment for each of the two games that they release. I think they'll release Crystal this time because Yellow was so radically different from Red and Blue and that would make it "harder" to remake.

 

I don't think we'll see a Crystal version remake. There would be no point really. By the looks of things, HeartGold and SoulSilver have pretty much all the features that were introduced in Crystal anyway, but, if HeartGold and SoulSilver sell well (Which will happen) then Nintendo would be stupid not to make a Crystal remake.

On the topic of patterns, I think the DS generation will be slightly different to our previous generations of Pokemon. I believe the DS will be on shelves for allot more years to come. I wouldn't be surprised if Gamefreak are forced into making a new installment of a new Pokemon region.

Money is very tight these days, and it would make sense that Nintendo would gain more profit on a new DS Pokemon game than a future generation Pokemon game. For those that don't understand why this would be the case, these are the reasons:

- The game would most probably use the same game engine to those of previous DS Pokemon games, thus making development costs cheaper and game development faster.
- There are huge amount of DS owners, which would mean more purchases of the game.
- The DS is in huge demand that Nintendo wouldn't want a future generation handheld anytime soon.

Hey guys, my first post on the forums. I sware I looked at the release dates for Pokemon heart gold and soul silver a few weeks ago and it said 12 of September? Now it says 11 of November? What is up with that?
