anyway i plan to transfer my save from original Silver to R4, then use pokesav to extract the pokemon data and use AR to paste it into my original silver, raise and repeat until i got all 3 of them (well i only need to transfer 2 out of 3)..... more work, but its still legit XD

Yeah, that's possible but probably a waste of time. I can't see there being a massive demand for those three, not since everyone has been able to get them from Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.

The notch-eared Pichu is a major player in the Japanese anime currently, from what I hear, so consider her(?) appearance as more fanservice than anything else.

No, to appeal to fans of the anime. That notched-eared Pichu doesn't even seem obtainable - just seems to show up, get all excited and happy, says a few things and buggers off again.

 

I would keep it. It's supposed to trigger some event if you have it in your party...
It's simply a collector's item. I haven't evolved mine.

I've mastered the art of Wondercards my friend. They all say Mystery Gift - Dynamic.
And if it's not limited by a certain Nature (like Hardy Surfing Pikachus...) I can change that too before I even receive it from the dude. I'd actually like to competitively USE my Mystery Gift pokemon instead of just say ooooo look! A [insert event pokemon here]! Too bad it sucks and has the wrong Nature...Nobody actually seriously plays ubers but still, I'd rather have a Timid Darkrai instead of the BS natures people always get.

EDIT: I got this confused with the JPN event Pikachu colored Pichu. LOL
I'll have to get a notch-eared one whenever they decide to release it.
And we all get the SHORT end of the stick when it comes to events. Damn Japan!

anyway notched-eared Pichu is a triggered event (like Regi events on platinum), as long as you got your pikachu colored pichu on your HSSS, you can trigger the event.

The colored Pichu is a shiny Pichu with a special Hidden HEX value embeded into it's Pokemon Data. If you knew the HEX then you could use POKESAV to replicate it.

If you evolve said Pichu, it will be a Shiny Pikachu, and if you evolve that it will be a Shiny Richu, and if you hack the game and evolve it again, it will be a Shiny Pikablu (LOL)
#If you evolve the Pichu before you tirgger the in-game event, then the hidden HEX will be ignored, and the SPECIAL SHINY PICHU will be NULL and VOID.

The notched-ear Pichu is a Different form of Pichu, I.E. I Pichu with another Hidden HEX Value. If you trade or battle against; DIAMOND, PEARL, PLATINUM this form does not exist in those ROM's data banks, it will appear as a normal Pichu with the PAIN SPLIT move.
If you evolve it, the Pichu will be a NORMAL PIKACHU.
To avoid this do this; Let the PICHU hold and EVERSTONE.
*You can get an EVERSTONE from PROF. ELM when you hatch the TOGIPI EGG/MYSTERY EGG that MR. POKEMON of ROUTE 32? gives you.
