Another trouble would be, evolutions?
Can you imagine your Psyduck evolving in the middle of class, after you've gone to sit down after and oral presentation?

The device looks like something you'll get free with a McDonald's Happy Meal. So not much I bet.

 

I think if you buy it,you would get one of those device which I'll not buy it,I just download it and nag my father to buy that device.

 

I'm pretty sure if they gave you exp, it would be in the same fashion as the day care centers, overwriting your movesets, canceling any evolutions, and not affecting happiness.

I never got into Gold and Silver on the GBC, I was too busy playing Pokémon Yellow then.
Now, with a remake, I'll try to finish it.
