Some more pictures... Ripped off the official Pokémon website this time. Damnit, this looks good. If they really do bring the whole "starters aren't the only things capable of following you" mechanic in, as well as the multitude of regions... This could very well be the best one yet.

i really miss crystal.....i dont like the new girl.....she reminded too much on mario....

 

I guess they will only make a few Pokémon that will follow you, such as:
- no big ones (snorlax, legendaries(not all of them), wailord, onix, steelix.. etc)
- no fish pokemon (gyarados, magikarp, seaking,.. etc)

And probablly a few more restrictions.. Because I don't think ALL of them will follow you, it would be just dumb.

 

Dunno... If you have a fish Pokémon in the first slot, for example, it could be what you Surf upon.

 

? Don't really understand you but w/e, what're you talking about? You aren't going to surf on land lol.
Probablly fish pokemon won't follow you, but you can still have it in first slot. I guess that's what your point was?

 

Garchomp is a land shark right? shouldnt land shark able to surf on....well land?

 

You DO remember the Surf HM, right? I don't see why there would be a problem with Surfing on the back of a Wailord.

 

They could just use the small sprites that you see in the party menu following you

hot damn i can't wait for this since silver got me loving pokemon games i hope they don't let you focus on the pokedex i never caught or seen all.....but i think i'll start with my first ever pokemon and the best the water type can't spell it though and it would be awesome to get 2 rivals instead of 1 but that was the best rival ever not like barry, gary or the worst ever rival may/brandon

 

I want them to stop making renewals and making a online game which would be so cool or one game with all the regions up to now

 

Hopefully if they ever make a next Pokemon game, they would include all of the regions.. that would be so epic

 

And it should be in current/next-gen graphics, instead of handheldyness

Well I would gladly sacrifice graphics if it would let more space to include all the regions

 

Or upgrade the cart size. Even after trimming it's still only ~97 MB. 97/128 is only 75.78%. 97/256 is only 37.89%. I don't think they would cut down anything with so much room to work with. Just adding in regions with scripts doesn't seem like it would take up the entire cart.

I've been wanting a game that you can visit all of the regions, each having specific pokemon in those regions. Either make each region progressively harder than the last, or force you to "start over" in each region until you conquer that area to be able to use your other region's pokemon.
