pokemon games: growing or failing

Well couldn't there be stronger monsters for more exp? :3

I was waaaay off. 520 is the max HP for a pokemon WITHOUT Ev training.

A EV trained blissey can have up to 713 HP!

 

EV training sucks

 

takes way too long to do...

 

It was a stupid idea, perhaps a training area would have been better

 

well look at it this way ok... 1st generation caterpie evolves at level 7 then again at level 10into a butterfree4th generation wurmpule evolves at level 7 and again at 10 into a dustox or a beutifly (depending on its gender) they are basicly the same pokemon on the stats and evolution and moves.but only the name and apperence have changed.

starter pokemon: always fire water or grass(witch they keep for all 4 generations) i got a little tired of that my self

legendary pokemon:in pokemon emerald,ruby,or saph. once u get the legenday the game is over u have already won the game because u will just 1hit KO all the gyms and the E4 as well. witch is why u catch the 4th generation legendarys at level 47 and at 50 so that u will still be challenged to beat the E4.

NAT. pokedex: in the 4th generation u get a national poke dex after completing the sinnoh dex. basicly it was a way of pullin the game another hour or 2 of game play basically chancing the pokemon u did not get b4

the only question now is:will there be a 5th generation?

 

Beautifly & Dustox don't evolve from Wurmple based on gender, neither is it based on the time of day, it's actually based on chance. I had a male Beautifly on Emerald, & though it scares me a bit it's kinda cool looking

pokemon is starting to suck now every game after cystal is mostly about saving the world by meeting and fighting legend pokemon i mean why can they just do something else i don't understand why you MUST go into, that what happened to the elite4, anyway...it'll be better if they let people join you on your adventure and you get to be a gym leader or a frontier brain or a elite4 trainer

 

i think they should remake red, blue and yellow for the DS but not change anything from the original story (everything stays the same). Just up the graphics and make them the first fully 3D Pokemon games with a lot more battle animations. It's probably possible seeing how we have games up to 256 mb today and those games were probably a couple hundred Kb. Overall i think they need to go back to what Pokemon originally was before they keep adding stuff to it that takes it away from its origins.

 

I think they are failing, but now that they are making the remakes of Gold and Silver, atleast they is growing right?

 

The story in Ruby, Saphire and Emerald is pretty good... Diamond and Pearl doesn't and Platinum is a little better than Diamond and Pearl..
I seriously hope the new remakes have good stories

 

when i first got my pokemon red for old gameboy like 10 years ago it was crazy fun and addicting, i didn't know anything about pokemon when i first played it and it was fun learning about all the different types of pokemon.
i quit playing after yellow, untill a few months ago i tried playing d/p and tbh i liked it, it was like when i first played pokemon as a kid, i didn't know anything and it was fun to learning everything. also wifi battling is fun, probably the neatest thing they did with pokemon.

 

From Pokemon Green to Crystal, Pokemon WAS growing, I could tell you that. I never enjoyed the ones that came out after, compared to the former. Instead of waiting for the remakes of Silver/Gold, It's best to wait for the remake of Crystal. The probability of a Crystal remake is highly likely.

 

It's most definitly failing.

I'll be getting a crystal remake if it comes out, That game was immense! It's a bit like the show, I watched the first series when I was 9/10 and I gave up after johto because the kids are still gonna watch it cause it's new to them like it was to me when I was that age. The same applies to the games. It just means the older fans are getting a bit left out, like nintendo is telling us to grow up but screw them! They should definitly make it proper 3d. Like musiclegend said the games are up to 256 megs a pop, if an rpg like kingdom hearts 358/2 days or whatever it is can be made on the ds then there's no excuse not to make pokemon 3d, it has to be one of nintendo's biggest cash cows.

 

Nah, they won't remake Crystal. But Heart Gold and Soul Silver will make Crystal seem more barebones than the original Red and Blue, so we're fine. As for whether or not Pokémon is failing, I have to say I think it's growing. Just really damn slowly. They seem hesitant in including new mechanics...

EV training, although repetitive, makes the game so much more fun in regards to stat spreads and movesets. I have 5 Salamences with different spreads and movesets, because yay versatility.

 

Kids only mind the Pokemon.
They don't really find the
beauty of a story.

 

One word: Bidoof.

This is one of the most useless Pokemon out there, only being used as an HM Machine
