Ok, I wanted an action rpg system, something like the tv show's combat would be nice.

However, sad to say, the turn based system currently used is perfected, why change what works?

It's like making COD into a turn based stratagy game all of a sudden, the regular would flee.

Which is why it should remain a spin off title...

Pokemon Revolution is just a title I made up for the spin-off. Instead of sticking to just how Pokemon revolves around a certain color (e.g. red or gold) and gem (e.g. Sapphire or Pearl), the game would sound more like an event.

So back to the way I think the spin off is, I am intrigued with how the characters would interact with each other is all.

Except from the dungeon, stadium 1 and 2, battle revolution, gale of darkness, the ameplay was diferent but still great.

In most of those titles gameplay was sort of similar in every way possible. After Pokemon Colosseum, those games just expanded upon what the previous ones already had. Modifications of the recent ones do not necessarily make it any different in style.

That's why a spin-off would be a great idea to begin with, aside from all the contemporary ones. The way I see it is that Pokemon deserves to be more explorable and memorable than just your average-day-catch-'em-and-battle-with-'em-type-stuff. I know it sounds like some kind of arcade fighting game, but my thoughts would remain solely with the idea of role playing in a free environment rather than have it turned based.
Because pokemon deserves to be more than just that, is what I think...Of coarse it would remain original, but adding a bit of flavor to it won't hurt one bit if it's done right.

I've got couple of things to say here.
I LOVE THAT GAME! BEST GAME EVAH!

Magicarp could be trained same way as before by placing magicarp as first pokemon and in the battle change it back (There would be some kind of cooldown before you could change back). As for flying pokemon, I thought they fly only when FLY is used.

Pokemons could move little slower and would have some kind of dash (propably used when you press L or R) so they could be able to avoid some attacks, with a little skill of course. It would be a nice fighting based spin-off. Fish pokemons could float over ground (Like in pokemon colosseum or Gale of darkness) and they could get some kind of boost when in water terrain (if fighting area has some water). In Tales of innocence it wasn't easy to dodge some of the attacks.

What about little more like this exept with pokemon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HC5Sfpv1TqU
You roam in a field (in this case tall grass) until you get in to battle and then the game acts like a 2D fighter (you do can move in 3D angle by holding R).

And about it taking too long to create all spesific animations for every move, They could use some of the animations for two seperate moves. Solution for the rest of the moves is PATIENCE. I would wait 5 years (like for the real wii zelda) or more for an awesome game like this.

It's not really about a matter of time. It's a matter of budget. The longer you wait, the more salary time you have to pay. Sure, all of us can wait five years - but all that five years is going to translate into a whole wad of cash. Rent for the game developers office, salaries, electricity. You may think all this is 'insignificant', but that's actually their investment. The longer it takes to make, the more they pay and the more WE pay.

At the end of the day, are they even going to make a profit? That's the big question for them. Companies exist for profit and solely profit - they're not going to risk such a big project when they might not even get a good fan response. Even if they did, guess what most of them will do when the price is high?

    Yeah, that's right. Pirate it.
