    Is there a pre-patched version 9? If so, If I play the pre-patched version now. When the official version comes out, can I use the same save file for the USA rom simply by changing the name of the .sav file?

    I still vote for prepatches. I just tried and got the unova cruiser text as my intro....

    ok, that you might have to patch when applying the stuff to a clean rom, this is only for the black version

    Thing is, I'm using V7, which supposedly was supposed to fix everything anyway.

    Frankly I'm lost. How is it that White works but Black doesn't? You'd think something like that would have posted straight out in the first post or something. Not to mention, I have no idea how to add patches.

    fine I'll answer. union room does work but only:

    white to white
    or
    white to black
    or
    black to black.

    to trade with p/d/p/ss/hg you need to use pokeshifter.

    no, a pre-patched rom is unneccisary. if you already have a pre-patched rom (v1 - 7 or higher) then download nitroexplorer 2b. if you have no rom or a clean rom, download a pre-patched rom. now open the rom with nitroexplorer 2b. download 2.narc and 3.narc. open folders up to a > 0 > 0 then replace files 2 and 3 respetivly with 2.narc and 3.narc. there happy?

    if i can fix my computer, i'll upload a pre-patched with my updates.

    There is a hidden menu in B/W called a "transfer machine", but its region lock, meaning you can only transfer between 2 pokemon games of the same region. Jpn to Jpn, US to US, while these translated versions fall into the Jpn to Jpn. Its suppose to allow you to transfer between B/W with the previous pokemon games too.

    To unlock you must go to Hiun City a.k.a Castelia City, talk with 1 man in white at the 11th floor next to Mr. Lock the Clown in the passed the city centre fountain. Answer his riddle correctly and the new menu will show up in your title screen main menu.
