Pokémon Direct reveals Pokémon Bank, PokéTransporter and more Mega Evolutions ​

Pokemon X & Y — 04 September, 2013​

A new service called Pokémon Bank was announced, which is an online cloud storage service for your Pokémon! In Pokémon X&Y you will be able to send any Pokémon from your game to the Pokémon Bank. This will be a paid service - in Japan it's confirmed to be 500 Yen per year, which is about $5 or £3.

Furthermore, a new app called PokéTransporter will be released for 3DS. When you have any generation 5 game (Black/White/Black 2/White 2) in your 3DS, the PokéTransporter app will allow you to migrate the Pokémon off the cartridge and in to the Pokémon Bank. Then, back on Pokémon X&Y you can download them from the bank into your game!

Next up about Mega Evolutions. It was confirmed that Professor Sycamore gives you one of the original starters - Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle - later in the game. But then it was confirmed that they all have Mega Evolutions! Also key to Mega Evolution is a new Mega Ring item, that causes Pokémon to Mega-Evolve when the ring connects with the Mega Stone the Pokémon is holding.

All three Mega Evolutions keep their type, but get new abilities. Mega Venusaur has Thick Fat (which halves the damage of Fire and Ice type attacks), and its Defense and Special Defense increase; Mega Charizard has Drought (makes it sunny) and its Special Attack increases; Mega Blastoise has a new ability Mega Launcher which makes pulse moves stronger (such as Water Pulse and Dark Pulse).

At one point Tsunekazu Ishihara (CEO of The Pokémon Company) seemed to imply that every Pokémon will get a Mega Evolution: It's fun to imagine how each Pokémon will turn out with Mega Evolution. I want to see what happens to every single Pokémon. This is not 100% confirmed, however; it's possible that Mega Evolutions for all Pokémon will come in future games. New mega Pokemon's and starter evolutions !!!​

Starter Evolutions​

First is Quilladin, Chespin's evolution.Quilladin is the Thorn Armour Pokémon. It is 0.7m, 29kg and has the ability Overgrow It is pure Grass-type and knows the move Mud Shot other known moves Tackle, Growl, Vine Whip, Rollout, Wood Hammer, Solarbeam, Leech Seed, Aerial Ace, Pin Missle.


Next is Fennekin's evolution, Braixen Braixen is the Fox Pokémon. It is 1.0m, 14.5kg and has the ability Blaze which is pure Fire-type. It knows the move Psyshock Scratch, Tail Whip, Ember, Howl, Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Psychic, Glow Punch, Psybeam, Flame Charge, Lucky Chant .

Finally is Froakie's evolution, Frogadier Frogadier is the Bubble Frog Pokémon. It is 0.6m, 10.9kg and has the ability Torrent.which is pure Water-type and knows Bounce,Pound, Growl, Bubble, Quick Attack, Hydro Pump, Bounce, Water Pulse, Lick

Fossil pokemons and a new pokemon​

New fossil Pokémons(on the right side of the above pic) are , Tyrunt which is Rock/Dragon T-Rex which has a new ability 'Hard Jaw' that increases attack power of biting moves and knows Crunch, and Amaura which is Rock/Ice Diplodocus which has a new ability called Freeze Skin which turns Normal type moves into Ice-type moves and raises their power. It knows Aurora Beam.

Tyrunt is obtained with the Jaw Fossil and Amaura with the Sail Fossil

the new pokemon are :



a white dog called Furfrou which is the Pokémon from the Pokémon Direct and is a Normal-type It has a new ability called Fur Coat which reduces Physical Damage. You can also customise its appearance
Finally, the Psychic-type cat called Meowstic. (left bottom corner) which has male and female appearances. Male is on the right, Female is on the left in the third picture below. movepool varies by gender. The male is more of a supporter while the female is more of an attacker with, female Meowstic. knowing Extrasensory and male knowing Miracle Eye. It has Keen Eye or Infiltrator

Pyroar:

A new Pokémon called Pyroar has been accidentally leaked by IGN. It appeared briefly on their website but was quickly taken down. It appears to be an evolution of Litleo but nothing is confirmed.

Following on from the accidental leak last night, the Pokémon Pyroar has been officially revealed by The Pokémon Company in conjunction with website IGN.
It's a Fire/Normal-type Pokémon with the abilities Unnerve and Rivalry and it can learn the move Echoed Voice and is classed as the Royal Pokémon.

Dedenne

Classification: Antenna Pokémon

Weight: 2.2kg
Ability: Pick Up or Cheek Pouch

This Electric/Fairy Pokémon can communicate with far-off allies. It can also plug its tail into outlets to drain electricity from them.

It creates its den by digging in the ground with its large, shovel-shaped ears. These powerful ears are strong enough to chop right through thick tree roots, making them a force to be reckoned with in battle..

The new Mega Evolution of Mewtwo is exclusive to X and is called Mega Mewtwo X. It is Psychic/Fighting-type and has the ability Steadfast. The previous Mega Mewtwo is Mega Mewtwo Y and is exclusive to Pokémon Y. They use the items Mewtwonite X & Mewtwonite Y to Mega Evolve.

Mega Mewtwo X has an increased Attack stat.

Mega Mewtwo Y

Type: Psychic
Classification: Genetic Pokémon
Height: 1.5m
Weight: 33.0kg
Ability: Insomnia

This Pokémon was first leaked in a promotional pamphlet of the Present Guide for the movie Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens, replacing Mewtwo on the poster with a caption calling it the Eclair Forme. However, soon afterwards it was revealed by Pokémon Smash, though without saying it is actually a Mewtwo form with the official sites stating it as a new Pokémon.
It was eventually confirmed as a Mega Evolution in CoroCoro in August 2013 and was revealed to be exclusive to Pokémon Y in September 2013

The Team Flare admins are: The purple-haired woman is Celosia, the orange-haired woman is Aliana, the green-haired woman is Bryony, and the blue-haired woman is Mable. The final one of the lot is a man called Xerosic, whose red goggles and hair make quite an impression. The actress Karune is to be called Diantha.

Season 1 of the Ranked Matches will be done with Single Battles using only Pokémon in the Kalos Pokédex and runs from December

Some more changes regarding types have been announced; Ghost types are no longer affected by moves that prevent fleeing such as Mean Look.
Grass Pokémon can't be seeded or affected by moves such as SleepPowder or Stun Spore.
Electric types can no longer be Paralysed

Fennekin's evolution is so far so good ^_^

fairy resist bug and dark, 2 main weakness of psychic pokemon... if Gardevoir is fairy\psychic, she is weak to ghost and steel, immune to dragon and super resist fighting. she is abit stronger... but not by much since steel is pretty common...

This Pokémon is said to be the evolution of Amaura and is called aurorus.
Aurorus has a move called Freeze Dry, which is an Ice-type move which freezes the opponent but is said to be super effective against Water-type Pokémon.

Ability: Strong Jaw
It also has the move Head Smash. It reigned over 100 million years ago as king. It's biggest weapon is its jaw that can tear through an iron plate as if it was paper.

According to an interview on Polygon, it has been stated that no Kalos Pokémon will have a Mega Evolution within Pokémon X & Y.

As they have done for the last 3 years with a special Audino, the Pokémon Center has announced the special gift for you to receive in the various Pokémon Centers across Japan for your birthday. This time, you have a choice of ten Pokémon: Pikachu, Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon, marking Sylveon as the first Kalos Pokémon distribution. This distribution runs from October 12th for Pokémon X & Y

Pokemon X & Y — 20 September, 2013​

Various gaming websites are starting to post reviews and first impressions of Pokémon X&Y. Here are some interesting new snippets we have learned.

• Supposedly X&Y include all Pokemon from all previous games, though it's not clear if that means available in X&Y itself or just tradeable like every other game.
  
• As noted yesterday, no Kalos Pokémon will get a Mega Evolution.
  
• Pokémon earn EXP even when you capture a Pokémon.
  
• Masuda stated that the reason stereoscopic 3D is not used in the overworld was to allow them to add much more detail to the overworld and enhance the beauty aspect of the games.
  
• Pokémon now make more natural sounds instead of the current computerised sounds.
  
• The story gets going much quicker than in previous games.
  
• Each of the starter Pokémon has a STAB move from the outset (i.e. Ember for Fennekin, Water Gun for Froakie).
  
• You can run with the B button from the very beginning of the game.
  
• You are gifted the Rollerskates before the first gym.
  
• You can learn new tricks for skating if you defeat Rollerskating trainers.
  
• PokéCenters now contain changing rooms to allow customising your character's outfits.
  
• Café culture permeates the many cities and towns of Kalos.
  
• Game Freak do not plan to release any patches to the games.

I think they have overdone this a little bit... all pokemon getting new forms and now non legendaries getting more than one mega form... its gonna be real hard to pick just 6 from all this..!

I watching Pokemon The Origins - Red and Green and seeing Charizard is now evolved into mega Charizard X by special orb to beat the Mewtwo! Awesome!!!

 

Pokemon Origins reveals second Charizard Mega-Evolution​

Pokemon X & Y — 02 October, 2013​

The Pokemon Origins anime special has just finished airing in Japan and revealed a big surprise - there are two Mega-Evolutions of Charizard! The first one that was already revealed is Mega Charizard Y, while the new one revealed in Mega Charizard Y. It is dark gray (similar to a shiny Charizard) and has blue flames. It is Fire/Dragon type and has a new ability Tough Claws which increases the power of contact moves (which are the majority of Physical moves).

Also of note is that some people have managed to get their hands on copies of Pokemon X&Y from certain stores in Canada, breaking the official sale date. Various information is coming in so we'll keep the site updated as we go. A few notable points:

• There are many Pokemon from previous generations mixed in with new ones.
  
• The first gym is Bug and you receive the Bug Badge for beating the gym leader Viola.
  
• After defeating the gym you receive TM83 Infestation which is a Bug type trapping move (like Fire Spin).
  
• There is a Skate Park you can play in using your Rollerskates.
  
• The Exp Share item now works like Exp All from Generation 1 - it is a key item and when it's switched on all Pokemon in your party will earn EXP regardless of whether they participated in a battle.
  
• A sleeping Snorlax blocks your path in one area, just like in the first generation.
  
• Espurr is a pre-evolution of Meowstic.
  
• Fletchinder is a middle-evo of the Fletchling line. It goes Fletchling, Fletchinder, Talonflame.
  
• In battle, status ailments show their full name, e.g. POISONED.
  
• Vivillon has multiple patterns, one of which is dark in colour and called Polar Pattern

Swirlix and Spritzee evolutions revealed​

Two new Pokemon have surfaced in a Japanese pamphlet. They are evolutions of Swirlix and Spritzee, and are pure Fairy type. They are known as Peroriimu and Furefuran.
