No, it's not the rom. Another emulator is DesMume, but if you're using No$GBA and it's slow for you, DesMume will be even slower, I use No$GBA and it runs fine.

i cant access my save file on the new patched version i changed the name of the rom to my save file name but its not reading it (my save file from the V4 version)

Rename both of your sav file and rom to make sure. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but just rename both of them again.

The fastest emulator is probably No$GBA, but it is extremely buggy with random crashes and saving....So what I suggest to use is probably DeSmuME .9.6 because 1)It's the newest one 2)It has no AP besides EXP 3)It works pretty fast if you keep the default settings for .9.6

I tried to do that with Black, but it didn't work.. I kept getting a message like "Operation string code something something something...".. I don't remember. I got it to work by getting a clean ROM and patching everything.

The UNOFFICIAL V5 BLACK Pre-Patched already comes with the English Patch and EXP Patch so you just have to open it with your emulator, if you're playing on NO$GBA you need this cheat for Pokemon Black. Enter it as Action Replay DS and RAW.

You patch the Pokemon rom so that it's in english instead of Japanese, or you can download the Pre-patched one that's already patched.

i ordered a r4ds off of leetmod.com are they reliable it says my items shipped im just worried ill get a fake r4ds.

I ordered an Acekard 2i from them the 27th and I got it on the 29th yesterday!!! It's a real one too, I know this because Akaio 1.8.1 has a feature that it won't run on fake Acekards. They are a reliable website.

If you ordered an Original R4, just stick the latest version of Wood R4 on your MicroSD card (non-SDHC, TF cards only, thus, only 2gb or lower), and try it out. If it works, congrats, you have an Original R4 that is as real as they can be anymore.
