what i meant by adding as new firmware is that you have to erase the old firmware, and then add the new one. you dont have to download the latest loaders, since akaio 1.8.1 comes with the latest one. when formatting your card. if its new, dont backup if no games or sav files are in it, format it to fat32 so it works best

Ah, okay got it. Thanks, just one more thing. Does akaio already come with cheats for the games or do I need to download something else.

you need to download the latest usrcheat.dat. you can get it here, in my forum which is one i keep updated, or from the official cheat db from gbatemp.

Hey, Just a quick question. Im familiar with patching stuff usually and ive done the V4 and Exp patch. Ive got 2 the 2nd gym town and none of the Npc's speak english anymore? Was the V4 patch just the 1st few towns preety much ?

ok so i ordered the original r4ds. so all i have to do is download the rom. apply the v5 patch. and then apply the exp patch. and drag and drop it into the r4ds folder on my microsd card. and it will play pokemon black and white on my nintendo ds light?

Yes, as long as the .nds file has the same name as the sav.file

Okay all I'm actually on my last limb with this. ^^;;

I've followed this and very many more threads on trying to get Pokemon black to work properly on my TTDs, I probably shouldn't ask but could someone give me a hand? possibly provide me with the v4 for pk black and the right TTMenu files needed? I also tried out a suggestion for getting YSMENU but the website doesnt seem to be providing it, or they've hidden it, one of the two.

I'm not here to beg or anything, I'm only posting because I've really tried my best at getting it to work, and yet it's still wont work right, it's decrypted, the patch is set right, same with the infolib and ext and yet it's still giving me a wall. haha.

I would be extremely grateful for some assistance. Thanks guys.

(also just to clear it up, tried with unofficial TTMENU 1.18 and a few different ones just in case. All Im getting are rom error 4's and 5's )

Okay, but just to be on the safe side. Which would be the proper TTMenu as well as infolib and ext that I need to make sure i avoid the error codes?

mmm I had the same problem as you, except then I used this and it works perfectly! There's something about that patch that seems to work (unlike the one from two weeks ago).
