So i just us th v5 patch to patch my black rom correct? and do i have to change my save file or anything?

You have to get a clean copy of the rom, then patch it with the EXP patch and the V5 patch.

ok so im new here. i just have a quick question because i dont want to read 50 plus pages. i want to patch v5 to english and have all known bugs fixed when it comes out. then i want to put it on a r4ds to play on my actual ds. can anyone tell me how to patch v5 when it comes out with all the proper patches like the exp fix and what not and then what type of r4ds i need to play it on my ds and how to put it on the r4. help greatly appreicated. thankyou[=

I've only played games on an No$GBA, how hard is it to play on a DS Lite or DSi? I know you need a card like R4, what are the differences between acekard, R4, ez flash? Can someone explain please. Also, do you just get the card, load it into your comp and just drag the .nds on it?

ok first of u get the carts from the shop on this webnsite second its the safest and its sooo easy to play games all u do is drag and drop games on it and wala and u can use woodr4 if u have an original r4 or if u ha ve a decent amount of money go for the acekard 2i and if u want the best cart out their go for dstwo supoer card

you will just need to download akaio 1.8.1 and it will work without the exp patch

I have been hearing that the Kingston 2GB card has problems with some games like black screen on Pokemon black and white. Is that true, and does Akaio 1.8.1 fix this? By the way, In the Acekard website there is Akaio 1.8, is it the same as Akio 1.8.1?

i am not sure of the kingston problem you say of, i use a sandisk. but i havent had any black, or white screens when playing, if that happens, you could try activating the AAP. on the akaio site, there should be a link for v1.8.1. but here it is: http://www.akaio.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=686&f=8&sid=cfa5ee81edf6ebf7e5aea2b62d175ae9
back up everything. format your card. and add akaio 1.8.1 as a new firmware, not by replacing your old, so there is no problems. after that add your games and sav files

Okay, so the memory is going to come with the Ak 2i official firmware installed already, do I just reformat it with the Panasonic thing to FAT16? That should erase the official firmware right? Then I just drag and drop the Akaio 1.8.1 aio folder and the akmenu4.nds onto my card, then drag the newest ak2loader into the ak2loader folder? I didn't understand what you mean by "add akaio 1.8.1 as a new firmware, not by replacing your old"
