I unpacked the rom and went to data/a/0/0/2 and deleted that. After that I downloaded the full story translation and I renamed it to 2. I then pasted it in data/a/0/0. I then repacked the rom and upon loading it on my acekard it gave a white screen
Could someone explain the problem?

You are suppose to overwrite it not delete it. You need to use Nitro Explorer to reinstert the text files with your overwritten version. You need to go into Rykin122's topic page on Pokemon Translation to see the steps he made to better understand. Its under the TUTORIAL SECTION. You are at the moment in TECHNICAL HELP SECTION. Back step to see the TUTORIAL SECTION above the TECHNICAL HELP SECTION.

uhm, guys no offense but.. patching with files is working for me but..
adding .txt files to .nds games is really making my head spin.

I know it's not done, but for those interested I have made an unofficial white patch that contains everything needed to take a clean pokemon white dump and make it exp patched, logo change, and the current repo's translation. I don't own pokemon black, so I can't make a patch for that at the moment. If anyone wants me to make another for them at a later date, just let me know. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL V4 RELEASE, THIS IS JUST THE CURRENT STATE OF THE PROJECT! POKEMON WHITE CLEAN DUMPS ONLY!

It's unofficial, and it's only for White. Use it if you wish, but it is NOT official and if it doesn't work, then you will have to contact kdb424 from the Project PokÃ©mon thread. I'll go ahead and upload a prepatched ROM if anyone wants it. Nevermind, my connection is too slow right now.

hey i downloaded pokemon white patched and then renamed my old save file from the japanese game but when i started the game up my party pokemon's name are still in japanese but everything else is english can anyone help? thanks

I downloaded the prepatched white, but when I put it on my R4 it just stays on the white screens before the game actually starts up? is there a way to fix this?

Did you ever patch your rom or do anything to it? Follow my instructions and it should work.

1) Download a new, clean rom.
2) Patch it with the translation patch
3) Download the latest usrcheat.dat from here: http://filetrip.net/f21888-Unofficial-Cheat-DB-1-07.html
4) Put that into your card and enable the anti piracy and exp gain fixes from the cheats menu.
5) Try the game, it should work.

P.S. Do you have an original r4? Are you using Wood?

i have TTDS and the only one that i got to work was patch v1, patch v2 and v3 give me error -4
