You have to update your TTMENU Folder, especially the extinfo.DAT, infolib.DAT, savlib.DAT, and TTMENU.SYS. Its an update by Pong & Retro. Or if you can't find it, use the Unofficial TTDS/DSTT v.117a12 rev.32. So far from my experience I haven't been able to run the OfficialV1 on YSMENU either, only been able to run the un-translated version.

Oh. Then, that means your cart can't run YSMENU. Its DLDI not compatible. You need to try other firmware or wait until someone make an update for your cart's kernel.

Yup, that's what I said too. He was intending to patch his .dsi rom with the patch you supplied on page 1. So I told him he can try to change his .dsi to .nds before patching it.

Now it become clearer...So you mean to say you have TTDS.NDS and YSMENU.NDS at the same time on 1 cart?

If that's the case, yes, the 2 .NDS files are connected using the same TTMENU folder. You need to remove the one that don't work, cause it conflict with the one working.

Sorry, the .dsi thing was talking with Totallydood not with you. Its related with someone else's posting.

Have you tried KazoWar's link on page 1 of Totallydood's forum thread. In it mention a way to solve that -4 error.

The v.117a12 means you have the latest TTMENU in it. I can run the un-translated version with that version. But first you have to make sure no more error messege and make sure your other roms work first.

So you can run the beta v3 now? If so, then stick with that rather than bother yourself with trying to fix the officialv1. But for fun you may just as well try it. use eNDcryptS to change it from decrypted to encrypted or vice versa. To find out if its in encrypted mode or decyrpted mode, use NDSTS. Its on page 27 under my name. But I'm not sure if it would work though. But there's no mistake in trying.

Lephantome92, My word was friendly and I don't get which part of my posting offended you. I didn't mock at you or anything. I was merely telling you that you need to be specific.

And please note that I did not call you names or anything. The moderators will also be confuse to why you are so upset over a normal written post respond. Hope you are not trying to make me look bad, cause I was being friendly to you each time I respond to your postings.

I was merely pointing out to you that if you so happen to be asking about my posting which does contain 1 site that is in Japanese. For your info, I also do not know Japanese. I use Google Translate too and it translated the entire site for me.

All you need to do is click google translate and copy over the link, then it will auto translate for you.

Looks like you don't understand much about google translate, do you? There is this Google toolbar that you can download, in it got a button to help translate sites. That's all.

Hope you don't get the wrong idea each time someone respond to your posting, and please don't get easily emotional. Its confusing for me to understand what got you emotional over a normal written respond. Peace.

Have you tried to enCrypt/deCrypt your rom? I was in a talk with another member name Maxi. He had the same cart as you. He can't run the OfficialV1. Most likely you also can't run it too. He did manage to run the BETAv3.

What he did was did the enCrypt/deCrypt procedure. You need to download 2 things.
1. NDSTS
2. eNDcryptS

The 2 program link are in page 27 under my name.

What you need to do;
1. Open your rom using NDSTS
2. Check on the right, are all written as "OK" or is there one box written "decrypted".
3. If all 3 boxes on the right written "OK", next.

4. Open eNDcryptS
5. Bring over your rom by cut and paste into the same folder as the eNDcryptS
6. Press "1" inside the eNDcryptS's dialog box
7. Press enter
8. Some blue writting will appear and wait until it say ok/done

9. Re-run the NDSTS
10. check if now there is one box on the right written as "decrypted"
11. If it is, you can now try copy over to your cart. Hopefully it work.

PS: Do the same if when you first open, the rom says "decrypted" meaning you need to encrypt it. Same procedure. Remember as Maxi said the R4i can run the Betav3 not Officialv1.

If it does not work, then you need to upgrade your firmware.
