Honestly, R4i's are some of the worst DSi carts out there. The best you can do is try out YSMenu.

Wood only works on Original R4.

Haha! Thanks for telling me, now i regretted my decision on choosing R4I and next time I will have to get another but in the meantime, I'm not available of getting a new one because of so many things so I have no choice but to use what I have got So I am getting YSMenu, and getting the latest one, can you tell me what is the YSMenu important for and what features does it include?

When in YSMenu loader, on the bottom screen tap on the "Yasu software - YS Menu" bar and it'll reveal the version you have, this one ofcourse is"YSMenu build May 22 2008 00:50:37".

- When in YSMenu loader, if you tap on the top left corner of the bottom screen you can still change the brightness, the only thing is that there's no icon showing a sun like the R4, but, it still, works.

-When in YSMenu loader press the start button and a screen with 3 buttons appear similar to the R4 boot up screen but cheasier. The 3 button are, "NDS Pass Me", "Boot GBA" & "DS Menu".

-When in YSMenu loader and you have a file you want to delete from your tf card just highlight the file and press X button to and A button to confirm. So no need for a homebrew, to delete files, the firmware allows you to do it. You can also disable this feature in the YSMenu.ini.

- It plays .gba games automatically, no more need to load a gba exploader or 3 in 1 loader before loading any .gba game. Also it saves .gba games with no hassle, by creating a .sav like the .nds games, and yes you still need a slot 2 device to play .gba games.

-It has support for slot 2. So it can load the internet browser without a gba exploader or 3 in 1 loader. Also, when about to load a .nds game it gives the option of "rumble pack" which can be set to "off", "low", "medium" or "high", that is if you own a
slot 2 expansion.

- It automatically plays .nes, .gbc, & .gb (and maybe more) as long as you have the GBA emulator version of one of these devices in the root directory. (eg. goomba.gba or pocknes.gba) There's no more need to load the emulator first, so basically just load the games from the directory and it'll load the proper emulator for the game you chose. (eg. you loaded Ninja Turtles.nes, it'll automatically load the the pocketnes emulator to boot the game.

-Better Compatibility for .nds games. (eg. Carnival games.nds works now unlike with the R4 v1.18 it doesn't, and also I hear from some other later released games that wouldn't work with the R4 1.18 and now works with this YSMenu Loader.)

nevermind turns out the only issue is that desmemu will not open roms inside a folder with a "-" in the folder name

Uggh! I still have a problem, I now have YSMenu finally installed on my R4i but the problem is I heard that YSMenu can make the Official V1 Rom Work but whenever i try to press a or tap the screen to launch a game, it won't work! All it does is this message pops out that says "Error" "Unsupported DLDI Name" How do I fix this so finally I can play the Games from YSMenu and not only that but finally The Official V1 Rom can work

the official patch v1 rom pokemon black works perfectly on ez flash vi and acekard 2I and scds2.
And even got cheat codes workin on all three flashcarts. ;D

but i had trouble patching my self as the patching program wasn't workin at all....so i downloaded prepatched rom.

i even got geneosect in pc.....lol its so shit

decided not to add reshiram on my team as i am quite chuffed wiv it.

Okay basically we're discussing on how to fix problems but thank you for the information on the acecared and all that but I need to fix this Uggh! seriously i advise all people to stick with V3 because in the Official V1 it un translates heaps of battle stuff and translates a tiny bit of storyline

Somebody notice, the constant freeze in the battle subway??? i been playing trying to play the last night but it keeps freezes constantly or it is not freeze it put a message in japanese (that of course i don't understand) anybody else got this??? it's an AP stuff??? can be fixed??. Just to knowledge i use acekard 2i with the most recent firmware of akaio. hoping somebody get the answer

Edit; Forget it i found that to do random battles i need to create an account or whatever and i downloaded the prepatched rom and the battle subway don't freeze anymore!!
Sorry for the stupid question i did. I'm going to do more researches before posting another question. Just one feedback, in the battle subway when you are choosing your team all pokes say that are Banned, maybe u can fix that
