I'm still on route one... I don't play much at the moment due to a lot of work stuff going on, but Monday I'm playing it with a buddy (He's on White I'm on Black)

The game is pretty spectacular and is even more enjoyable when you don't have to stare at an online guide the whole time to figure out what move you're using/learning/having used against you. xD

can anyone explain how to patch? I never did it before...(only once with jump ultimate stars but I forget..)

Download the latest patch from here and have a clean rom on hand of the respective game (Black or White).

Unzip the patch zip file and it should have the latest patch, Xdelta GUI, and Xdelta.

Put the clean rom in the same folder has the three files I named above.

Open Xdelta GUI.

Select the correct patch for the patch.

Select the clean rom for the rom

Click the button underneath the two boxes.

Wait a few moments and a patched rom should have been generated in that folder with the same file size as the clean rom (have the folder with all the stuff in it open on the side so you can see the contents).

Once the new file has a size, you can shut Xdelta GUI and play the game.

You can stash away the clean rom for later patches.

i get white screen on dstt with v3
v2 works fine without errors,etc

You guys with DSTT are just going to have to accept that your going to have to be about a day or two behind on each patch, because of how the DSTT works with Game IDs (for what reason, I don't know- who thought of that, needing to update the kernel every time a new game comes out? I digress.) Your going to get the same error every time there's an update, if you haven't noticed from the past 3.

I am so sorry Halo, I didn't know. I am sort of new the forums here. I was only trying to help those who seem to be having trouble patching. If I did wrong here, I am at fault and I hope the Mods don't blame you....

Ahhh dudes...I just can't get it to work on my r4sdhc! I tried wood for clones and ysmenu 6.30 but the wood just gave me a white screen, and the ysmenu gets stuck on a white loading screen when I click on it
I've tried like nearly every pokemon b/w rom out there and it still doesn't seem to work...
Could some please help me out and direct me to the files I should have that are necessary to play?

I've played Black in Japanese till now (Hex-edited) and would rather not start over new. I guess the save file of the Japanese game won't be compatible with this translated version?


EDIT: Another question, does the local wifi work between two translated versions and/or between a Japanese and a translated version?

ttds fix requires me to run on windows doesn't it?...oh actually i got it running now...still can't play pokemon white...im gonna try the prepatched v3 and see if that works...
