I would love to contribute to this, that's all Just give me the file dimensions, the max filesize and I can do it for you

does v3 patch more than v2 because in v2 my party's names are in kanji form except the ones i catch/encounter. those are translated

Your party names are set in stone unless you change them at the name changer (wherever they may be in the new games). Of course V3 translates more in general though (the newer patch translates the title screen and fixes a couple errors and such).

Man, use your resources people. It's easy to act useless when it comes to things like this, but just try to put forth a little effort.

All that you will know from reading anything is that they are translating in terms of directories. As in, unless you know what is exactly in each numbered directory, you're never going to know how much has been truly translated.

What I've personally found:

- Title screens for both games are translated
- The main menu is translated
- All battle moves are translated (with newer moves having their English translated names)
- Pokemon names are translated
- The in-game pause menu is translated
- Many, if not all items are translated
- Some item descriptions are translated, some aren't
- The in box options are translated on the PC's
- Some misc things are translated (names and such)
- Routes and cities have been translated

The main story has not been touched, nor have the misc signs throughout the region. The misc and main story text has yet to be touched.

Remember, with each patch comes typo fixes, bug fixes introduced by the patches (all major bugs have been taken care of), and new translated material.

There you go, not too difficult.

Beta V3 Changelog:

-Pokemon B/W logo have changed.
-PC Orders like Move,Party etc. are translated.
-The Attack names have been edited.(Like Zekrom's Attack Cross Thunder)
-Most of the items and Descryptions are translated.
-Some parts of the Pokedex have been Translated.

So for some reason, I patched with v3, and I gain no EXP on my Acekard 2i 1.7.1. It's frustrating.

Hmm apparently the patch I used is no longer there so I couldn't tell you, but let me get this latest one and I'll let you guys know. I think the file name was

Black No EXP patch v3 or something like that though.

I guess you'll just have to re-patch the rom with the exp fix version. It's such a pain re-patching and moving the new file onto the MicroSD card every time, but you can't complain much when we aren't the ones translating.

Oh I'm not complaining by any means. I just didn't know if it's because I got the no-exp version or if it broke the EXP gain or whatnot. Lol I just repatched and it's fine now. :]
