    For some reason, I can't load my save with the English patched ROM, but it loads fine with the Japanese Rom Wierd.. Don't need it in English anyways b/c I can read japanese somewhat.

    AKAIO 1.7.1 8GB Kingston. Meh.

    I can confirm that it freezes on the M3 Real DS, which it didn't do before with the previous patched version

    Wood 1.13 is the one that evo freezes.

    Well, I'm nowhere near another evolution with mah Pokemans, so it's no big deal right now. I'm sure an ironed out patch will release in the next couple of days.

    After patching with the English patch. The ROM name change with an additional "_patched.nds"; example: before patching the name is pokemonblack.nds, after patching it becomes pokemonblack_patched.nds.

    What you need to do is simply rename your patched ROM to match the name with the save file by removing the '_patched'. It should do the trick. Unless your rom became corrupted while patching it.

    No, I can see my save file at the main screen, but when I click A to start the game, black screen. But it works fine with the Japanese ROM. :\

    I really don't need it in English b/c I know enough Japanese to play this, but would like to get the English one working =p

    Tried that, it lets me start a new game, and get into my room and everything after talking to the Prof.

    it gives me also the errorcode 4 in DSTT when i open the Pokemon black prepatched :(

    I'm using r4i sdhc card..

    Same here, using DSTT with all the firmware needed to bypass that, unpatched still works fine

    Isn't there suppose to be a 'button' to make the pokemon not evolve. If anyone remember, the pokemon games before black and white has the 'B' button function to make the pokemon not evolve. Has anyone tried pressing the buttons to try prevent it?

    Cause I'm still jogging back and forth with both the Heart Gold version and the White version which makes my progress with the White version slow as I spend too much time trying to complete the previous version. Saving the black version for later when a better translation patch available.

    Unfortunately I'm not too sure how to get an everstone from the past version into the new. Cause I don't have a 2nd console and the current POKESAV and Pokemon Mystery Gift programs not yet updated. And I have not notice any 'hidden objects' while walking around.

    And another thing I noticed, the cheat data base from Kiekoes not readable by the English patched version. I think I'll go back to using the white rom without the Eng patch.

    I see. No wonder the cheat data base does not load. And it fail to load on Vividboy's edited YSMENU too. In any case, I now know what the command buttons means. So I'm reverting to the version before the English patch, at least until a 2nd patch version is made available. Thx anyway.
