    That's because the .sav file has to be in 512KB.

    You can use this website to convert your .sav file
    http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php

    Choose No$GBA as Source Format
    and Acekard [Force 512kb] as Target Format, then it will give you a new .sav file in 512kb that you can use in Pokesav.

    I just noticed that the woman who gave the "TM Echo Voice" still uses Japanese as her dialog. However the TM's details is in English. Kazo or someone in his team might have missed it, which is understandable given the understanding there are over 470+ files for the game play dialogs and over 250+ for the interatice/menu to look into which makes it difficult to spot it.

    I'd give it a 90-95% translation achieved by Kazo and his team, as I still see some random IA's dialogs still in Japanese. Which isn't a big deal anyway since the most essential parts had been translated.

    Heh, Kiriban?

    Even having it 90% translated in this amount of time is astounding.
    I found it interesting that nearly all of the TV Text is still in Japanese.
    Not that it's relevant, of course.

    I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is it possible to use a japanese save on a US rom? I don't want to play pokemon black all over again when it is released of

    Tried it out with Pokemon Heartgold and it did work, so it might work on Black/White.

    It was possible with PKM HG/SS. Not sure if it could also for B/W, but I think yes it can. But I think the general rule is to have both the .nds file and the .sav file with the same matching names. And keep a back up just in case it don't.

    It should work. It worked back in 2007 with my Diamond and this year with my Soul Silver. Yes, I got my first R4 in October of 07 :)

    awesome. but since the translated names in the fan translation usually don't match with the official translation, it's going to be hard to navigate towns

    You can't patch an already patched version, you need a clean unpatched rom, or you can just download V7 pre-patched and change the name of your .sav file to that of the V7 rom so that it can use the same .sav file.

    Saw this news while browsing for new distribution event pokemon. Thought that I might as well share this news and post in here.

    Two new Pokémon Black and White events for Japan

    Two new events for the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black and White are beginning shortly in Japan. The first event will take place via Wi-Fi and will allow players to download an egg. You will receive one of three random Pokémon eggs and only one egg can be received per game. It isn’t known at this point what the three Pokémon are however the event will coincide with a specific episode in the Pokémon Best Wishes anime which will air on December 7th 2010 in Japan. The Mystery Egg event will begin from December 17th 2010 until January 11th 2011 for Japanese versions of Pokémon Black and White.

    The second event will be available from all Pokémon Center stores across Japan. To celebrate the Pokémon Center’s birthday, all stores will be giving away Tabunne via Mystery Gift, the Healing Pokémon comes with a special Birthday Ribbon attached. Tabunne’s stats are still unknown at this point but stay tuned for further details.
