Just turn off the c gear when you load your file to get pass the freezing. Thats what i did to get pass it.

Is there any reason why the game seems to work on some Acekard 2i's with AKAIO 1.7.1, but not on others? I've tried three different download links and they've all frozen at the exact same spot, after the Professor's opening speech. It fades to black and then nothing. All three I've tried have been White. Will Black have a better shot at working?

 

ya see, that's the issue i encounter :'( lucky me i have like 6 different flashcards, so it runs pretty well on EZ flash Vi, but no fix for it yet, sorry.

 

I'm using AKAIO 1.7.1. Works perfectly. No freezing, and working EXP.

 

does it work perfectly for edge 1.11

 

based on what i've read, it should work perfectly if you use the EXP patch...but i may be wrong

 

Aw hell, two hours to download the pg 60-61 link. Gonna continue anyway.

Yeah, I'm rather curious as to why some Ak2i's work and some don't. Hopefully it'll work on mine.

Wait, I also have an original R4 (not a clone, I don't think) that I haven't used since buying my Acekard in March/April. Is there any new firmware for it that works with Black/White? If so, can I get a link to said firmware?

Argh, so it's pretty much just R4 SDHC and R4i SDHC that aren't working at this point? I'm almost tempted to buy an Acekard at this point, as I've had only bad experience with my R4i SDHC, but at this point I figure by the time it'll ship there will be a patch... at least I hope.

 

so far it's not working on any clones, sorry.

supposedly, there is a version of Wood R4 made for these games...i don't recommend it though...

if you buy a new flashcard, get a supercard DS 2

cuz it uses an outdated DS_MENU.DAT which could mean bad compatibility with everything else >.>

 

guys i know the problem with the ttds! its the extinfo and info lib files! so now we know where to look!
