if your talking about a translation a very long time the HG/SS translation took over a month and didnt even get completed

 

I'm uploading a ROM that was patched with a patch found on 4Chan.

Do that. It fixes the EXP problem. It works on my AKAIO 1.7.1 Acekard 2i perfectly.

 

If it works for R4 (which it probably won't) that would be brilliant.

 

I'm using an Acekard 2i with AKAIO, so I don't know if it works with R4i. I'm uploading the Automatic patcher instead because it's smaller, so you'll need a clean ROM.

 

Yeah thats what i mean. I i dont want a full text translation, i only want battle translations, pokedex, menu, names, maps and other things like that because i have no idea what i'm doing!

ok so I have been playing beat the first gym, defeated the two plasma members but when I go back to the proffessor guy in the house ansd speak to him the game freezes everytime is anyoone else experiencing this?

Im using an original R4 with v1.12 of WOOD and have the hex edited rom

 

ALRIGHT. Here is the autopatcher. With a clean rom, follow the instructions in the ReadMe file. It works for me; I cannot guarantee it'll work for you. I'm not sure about freezing, but EXP is fixed! All credit goes to the person who uploaded this to /vp/ on 4chan originally.

Well, I have to say that it works absolute wonders on AKAIO. Doesn't freeze (played more than 1 hour), and gaining EXP and levels. Beautiful, thanks so much!

 

ALSO, this is for Black only, I believe. Maybe there's a White version one floating about?

 

are the patched and clean rom the same size?
