Pokémon Black & White AP Thread

Why are we getting mixed reads on whether or not it works in AKAIO 1.7.1. When i tried it this morning, I got a black screen after my name and gender input. But now people can actually get in their rooms? Was there sort of a patch?

 

Anyway ill be back tomorow here 00:40 am im so sleepy XD ill come check updates tomorow.

Btw Thank you devil and everyone who help him fix the AP patch

well I have AKAIO 1.7.1, but did a firmware update (not sure which one though) because my DSi XL has the 1.4 version, when I plyed White for the first time, I could play normally, even though it froze every 10 mins. and I don't get any EXP from pokemon.

I didn't get the usual problems most people got like freezing in the first pokecenter or after putting the name

I have the old firmware because I never updated my DSi and it works fine(read: No exp ). Maybe it was just a random freeze? try again? try another rom? ((

 

That's very weird. The AK2i runs in DS Mode so whether you're playing on a DS or a DSi wouldn't matter because the game would still think you're using a DS Lite. No loader updates were released and AKAIO.net displays no update to 1.7.2. This is very interesting, I don't have my DS on me and I won't get it back for another 20 minutes since its in the car and my mom is using it.

It was probably the ROM. I'll try ones off ROMUlation. I tried one off some random site on Google but the ROM was genuine.

 

@wally; no its RANDOM freezes, so it could lock up at the beginning or later on down the road

the "update" is a patch for the 1.7.1 update for people with 1.4.2U (or is it 1.4.1U?) firmware on DSi/DSiXL.

 

no, but if the dsi XL has the version 1.4, the acekard 2i won't boot no matter what, a firmware update is necessary for it to work

I too would wish to be notified about this fix. I hope it works on an M3...

 

Someone has tried decrypt the ROM and run with bios in no$gba like with HG/SS. I can't because the endrypts advanced don't work for me.
