How the hell did you take that away from what I said? The point is a lot more people are likely interested in B/W since it's a brand new game, not a rehash.

 

Aww, I was hoping the AP was fixed already. So using the (J) fix was a no go?

I don't think there are any differences.

And I'm hoping that there's a way to work on my Supercard DS ONE SDHC.

 

No one knows except the person who's making the AP fix. And we don't even know who's doing that because they don't say they're fixing it until they give us the fix.

So if you want to know, go make the AP patch yourself.

I'm bored, so while I wait for the US game to come out so I can go BUY it, I'm going to try and take a stab at the AP and make a patch. Wish me luck! I'll be working on the EUR version, not the others.

Just an update on some FAQs I've seen in this thread so far:

1) You can transfer your save file from B/W(J) to B/W(E). Nicknames and your name will remain as they were in the (J) version. To transfer, simply change the filename on the .sav (.dsv) file.
2) The (J) AP patch will not work on the (E) ROM. We'll have to wait for our guys to come out with a new patch.

Pokemon White (E) is confirmed WORKING on DeSmuME 0.9.7x64.

 

so it absolutely only works for supercard? thats pretty damn cool.
btw confirming here it no work on R4(i) Ultra with AKAIO 1.8

 

I has very manual patch

1. Download a japanese copy of either black or white
2. Download and apply rudoulph ap patch to japanese rom
3. Download whichever game has the language you want (for me english, so eur)
4. Download nitro explorer 2b
5. Open the non japanese pokemon rom
6. Navagate to a > 0 > 0 and extract files 2 and 3
7. Navagate to a > 0 > 2 and extract file 16
8. Open the japanese game and put the files from the non-jap into the jap rom
9. Put on card and enjoy ap free

This just changed the language and logo of the japanese to whatever you got the files from. Please note that this will workalmost the same as the translations of b/w made. So if one of the translated jap roms worked on your card then this will too. Enjoy!

P.S. since this shouldn't change the game id, cheats should work too.

P.S.S. I haven't tested this yet but it should work.

Isnt that what some people did with pokemon gold and silver? If I recall that didnt work so it might be possible it wont work here

Or just wait a few days for the AP to be fixed xD, so much simpler.

 

Or they could do that for us and upload the ROM.
