Pokémon Black & White AP Thread

I keep on getting this error when I try to save. I'm using No$GBA, with the 'fix codes' that are on the first page.

So can someone tell me what that means?

 

Okay, I updated to the v6 english path and tried all of that (except the GBA BIOS MODE), but none of it worked. I'm still getting an error message every time I try to save (The report could not be written).

 

Yeah I had trouble when I first played the game....I was looking all over the internet how the hell to save the game. Didn't know you had to press X to bring up the menu.

I have the same problem as SuperScizor. My hotkeys aren't working. Can someone please help us?

You're supposed to be using the "keyboard" controls, not the "Joysticks/Gamepads" Change the Keyboard controls to whatever you want to use, for example, change the Up Down Left Right to the arrows keys instead of the A,Q,P,Z then click OK then go to Options > Save Options.

 

How do you use the Max BP Action replay code? I can't seem to be able to use it. Is there a button or chain of buttons you have to press after activating the code?

 

Hello and thanks a lot, it worked. A last question, how do I bring the menu? I click Entree and nothing happens D:

 

The menu inside the game is brought up by the X button. So whatever you set the X button to, that's what you need to press to bring up the Menu.

 

Hey guys,

I have been searching the farthest reaches of the internet for the past 3 days, and I thought you guys might be able to help me out. I tried a couple other forums with no luck, but you guys seem like you really know what you are doing.

So I cannot get the Pokemon White V7 ROM to work entirely on either NO$GBA or DESMUME.

NO$GBA:
I fixed all the problems I encountered with the codes I found in the following video:

except for the save problem. I have gone through every type of backup media, saved No$gba's settings and restarted the ROM, gone through the whole intro to the game, and tried to save before picking up my 1st pokemon. But no luck.

The video has a "SAVE FIX" code but it doesn't seem to work for me. I have tried this with and without No$zoomer, with and without loading from the BIOS, I've even tried "encrypting the file" using eNDryptS Advanced, but nothing. I know there has to be something I'm missing.

Also, if it helps, my Start Screen is a little screwed up:

After I get past the start screen he rest of the game works fine though. (At least up through the first 2 battles)

DESMUME:
Desmume's graphics aren't as great as no$gba's, but it's not that big of a deal. It saves just fine, but I can't gain EXP. This is the same ROM that I use in no$gba.

It's ridiculous, Desmume also has save states. If No$gba had save states I would have no problems!

I run Windows 7 on my Desktop and Laptop I used to try to get these to work, if that makes any difference. I'm sure it doesn't.


Sorry for the TL;DR guys, just trying to be thorough. This is infinitely frustrating, and the freaking thing is so close to working and I've hit a brick wall.

LONG STORY SHORT: I can't get my POKEMON WHITE V7 ROM to save on NO$GBA and I can't gain EXP on DESMUME. No real problems otherwise on each emulator.

Ok never mind. I fixed the problem. Turns out I had a crappy version of No$gba. To anyone else having problems, I would suggest just going straight to the thread someone linked earlier in this thread and follow it step for step:

I still can't play. I even tried it on a different computer and it still gets stuck on the start screen. I can't even get to the "new game" option now. I have no idea why.

 

I don't know what is causing your problem, but I might be able to help you via Team Viewer if you want to.

 

Any chance for a nozoomer fix?
I can get the game working on no zoomer but the code doesnt work for exp or save.
I mean its playable on the nocash but i guess im just being greedy, o well

 

why do not it save on no gba . for r4 you use WOOD R4 v1.16 then put Pokémon Black & White English Pre-Patched ROMs (Official v6 Patched) in the r4 and do you need the code for blue screen and can it save on the r4 and what it the patch thing for ?

 

1) English version is outdated
2) WoodR4 is outdated :'(
