You overwrite the old firmware with the new firmware files. Download AKAIO 1.8 here http://www.akaio.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=668&f=8&sid=b0e96c30b681b860ba8638da9bd81e3b and extract everything to the root directory of your Micro SD card. When it prompts you saying "Do you want to replace this file", click Yes.

 

somebody knows and actual patch for R4i plat last firmware?? =(!?? wood doesn't work ttmenu doesn't work, ysmenu doesn't work

 

freaking need that black and white game ill wait but if i cant get it......................

 

V3 ENGLISH ROMS are not prepatched for AP. I just dled black and patched it with IPS EXP fix so nwo it works using the R4SDHC method

 

is there a link where i can download a white rom that has been ap, exp and english patched?

Okay I spent the past two days trying to set up my brother's crappy card to play. It doesn't run R4 SDHC firmware or Wood R4.

YS menu works. I see I have to edit the two .dat files. Now does it matter how I have YS menu set up? Does it have to Auto booting firmwarr or as .nds file or another option I'm not aware of?

I've formatted the SD card.

 

I get the -4 error when I try and use the english patched black v3 rom

I use R4 SDHC Upgrade with TTDS menu as .nds and the normal patched jap white works fine, but it's just the english one that fails to load

any help?

 

i may have missed it but has the union room black screen of death been fixed? (using wood r4)

What are you using? Sounds like No$GBA but just wanna make sure.

 

The Hex Patch doesn't work for the prepatched V4 Black.

Why is this such a massive problem ? Can't somebody just upload a prepatched version with all patches on it ?

 

THAT works on r4 sdhc ver 1.18

That's not the problem stupid. I can't patch the pre-patched Pokemon Black V4 Rom with the Hex Patch. Who cares if the already fully patched rom works on your r4.

XDelta also doesn't work for me so how the heck am I supposed to patch it ? And no I'm not unfamiliar to this kinda stuff.

 

The prepatched english aren't patched for the EXP stuff, right?
