Pokémon Black & White AP Thread

Wood R4 v1.13 works flawlessly IF you are running it on an Original R4. Side effects may vary on clones to certain functions not working to the firmware being totally unusable. No AP fixes are required on this firmware.

If it's an Original R4 and issues persist, back up and format your MicroSD card placing on freshly downloaded firmware files after. When you updated your firmware, you may have done it incorrectly.

 

Note: I apologise if this was repeated but looking through 200 pages of posts is a little much.

I tried the Rudolph patch, which I assumed would fix the Union Room AP, but I still cannot access the Union Room [SupercardONE EOS v1 SP5]. I was wondering if using the Union room is possible with a different patch or if I did something horribly wrong.

 

No idea. I don't use the Union Room. Don't know why there are issues there. You could try a different patch since the Rudolph patch isn't made for other carts other than Original R4 (it just happens to work sometimes elsewhere). There is an "official" Xdelta AP patch (not translation, actual AP only) I believe. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

Maybe you could see if that fixes your issues.

 

I tried that and the hex editing on seperate roms, but the game still refuses to start on my EZFlash Vi. :/

 

The xDelta patch didn't work for the Union Room AP. Thanks for trying to help though.

 

I don't think it's AP, I think it's a cart/firmware issue. Have you tried to back up your MicroSD card and format it?

 

No, I haven't tried to back it up or format it. I'll just wait until another patch comes out for it that works with my cart. Thanks for your help though.

Is the Ver3 English Pre Patched Rom here still the Beta one, or is it already the V1 release that just got posted at the official translation site?

With my AKAIO 1.7.1, both versions freeze immediately upon load. All that loads is a white screen.

 

You need to wait for a firmware update.

I used it on my EDGE v.1.11 and no$gba and my pokemon gain experience.

 

So I just found out that you need IR for trades and battles. Does that mean you can't trade or battle if you don't own an actual cart? Is there a way around this?

 

Probably the code that disables the EXP AP.

Yes I think so.

It will be an hex editing program for pokemon B&W.

I have been undergoing testing and it seems the ROM checking feature of it is broken. Ah well, it doesn't really matter that much.

I'm gonna input the hex editing code now.
