Pokémon Black & White AP Thread

    New to dealing with roms so bear with my inexperience please. have the latest version of desmume using the English patched roms but have the AP no exp still happening. Tried using the xDelta exp patch white patch on it but it doesn't seem to fix it. Any tips or advice.

    Everyone with a r4i-gold,

    our blessings are heard, the newest update (yes, they continued with updating out of nowhere) V 1.36 is now available on the new site for the R4i Gold, www.r4ids.cn

    Pokemon Black is working for me, and i haven't encountered any problems so far, not with the exp, not with the freezes, and not with the c-gear, and even not with saving my progress.

    Not a single freeze till 2 hours of gameplay.

    I shall update you all with my progress in the game for suddenly appearing freezes if necessary.

    Sorry, when you reply I was already offline. Anyway, sorry can't help with it. Some R4 clones are lacking of certain abilities to use certain firmwares. I had previously used the original Yasu's Menu (YSMENU v.0.06), it can't load the PKM B/W. I removed the entire firmware and replaced it with VividBoy's modified YSMENU. Actually what he did was simply replace the v.0.06 with the Unofficial v117a32 and to make sure it work fine with R4 he somehow patch it with R4YSauto for the dldi. But anyway, sorry to hear you can't use both the Wood and YSMENU from several posts by us members that had it working. Likely your N5 internal kernal conflict with any newer firmware version added into the system. I guess it could mean you have to grap a new cart if you still want to play the PKM B/W. Try looking for one that constantly get online upgrade available for download. Good luck.

    Yay i finally got pokemon black to work X ). i used the "R4 SDHC fix" from this http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=47381.0 and just used the eng prepatched version with it to see if it would work and it did.

    last replyie (forget ur name sorry) hav 2 update again caus etheres a new patch out with the story translated up to the first town.XD i already upped it 2 my topic i was in the chatroom when it was announced.

    Halo, could you please provide the link to the blog/forum thread for that? Thx. Cause I'm still rather sleepy after spending long hours awake last night moving my original .sav file into the .sav that has pre-downloaded liberty ticket in it. Then I had to spend several more re-playing and re-acquire the items given by several characters in the game.

    how did you get the .sav to work? and on what specifically? (i've been trying to get it on desmume, to no avail yet)

    Ok, I've been hearing about a beta 4 V1 OFFICIAL English patch for these games, but the link isn't on the KazoWAR page OR on the translation page on Project Pokemon. Is it fake? I can't find the link anywhere. Someone please provide me with them, if it's not fake

    EDIT: NEVERMIND LOL, you posted 2 secs before I did :p. thanks for the link. They really need to put the links on the official pages.

    It is on the official translation page. On Project Pokemon. Black and White Translation Thread v2 (referring to version two of their thread). The bottom most links positioned to the right are the latest patches.

    Not too hard to figure out.
