So lame theres no english patch for R4i

 

There's an all around English patch, it works on everything that can play the clean ROM basically. The only carts that are having issues are ones that couldn't play the game already anyways.

 

A few days at most.

I can't do the patching, I'm afraid.
I'll do the hex editing though.

Any solution for the C-gear freezing so far? Using an original R4 with Wood 1.13

Use the hex editing solution and see if that works.

 

Using a clean ROM (with the translation patch of course), C-Gear works just fine on Wood v1.13.

 

Weird, I`ll try re-downloading, to make sure I actually am using 1.13. Im guessing the pre-patched version from the other topic should work, right?

 

Does C-Gear work on DeSmuME?

 

I patched the ROM myself with the translation patch. I don't trust pre-patched ROM's because I don't know what the hell people have done to it at this point. It could be a hex edit with a patch for something else with the translation patch stacked on top of it for all I know.

Does it matter? It's not like you could use any of the functions anyways.
