Pokémon Black & White AP Thread

READ THIS IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS EVOLVING USING TTDS

I figured out what needs to be done to get around this problem. You will need to download two files. First off, you need to have Pong and Retro's updated TTDSmenu. I'm assuming all of you have it since that's what you are running the game on. Also, download this:

This is the Japanese version of the TTDS menu.
Now, take off Pong and Retro's TTDS menu off of your card COMPLETELY and put them in a seperate folder on your desktop. (We will be using this later! Also Make sure you keep your original firmware on your cart.) After doing that, take all the files from the link above and put them on the root of your cart just as you have been doing with the regular TTDS menu. Once you have done this go back to Pong and Retro's TTDS menu files and take the TTmenu.nds file ONLY and transfer that to root of your cart with the other files. Now, time to test it out. Run the TTDS.nds file on your DS like you have been doing. Then, run the rom. Everything should be beautiful.

EVOLUTION IS WORKING. I know because I tested it.

 

you're not alone. it's not working on my r4i sdhc either, so i'm playing the white version on my edge flashcart. i was a bit confused about the white and black version at first. i haven't gone too far so i'm not sure about the freezes, i just caught this tiny puppy which looks alot like growlithe's first evolution??!! lol. perhaps we can wait for the english version release next year? besides, i'm not so impressed with the battle scene, i think it can still get better. anyway, still searching how to make this work for r4i sdhc =(

@Kureeru; Copy all games which are located at games in the root folder and test it ;D

 

it's constantly crashing in no$gba.Patching is giving experience, but any fix for crashing?

EDIT: I've tested every code and patch given in first post and the result is game crashes every time I face 2nd opponent(rival).

 

CAN CONFIRM THAT TTDS AND PRE PATCHED POKEMON WHITE FOR R4I WORK ON R4 UPGRADE USE LASTEST FIRMWARE ALSO IS THERE A ENGLISH PATCH YET

 

OMGAWD Thankyouthankyouthankyou. It works perfectly on R4i SDHC Upgrade. Now I have a Futachimaru in my Team x3 (Though I kind of freaked the first time I tried it, since I got stuck in a screen with lots of blue bars when loading TTDS menu)

ENLISH PATCH ANYONE FOR POKEMON WHITE I DONT KNOW JAPANEESE

 

First of all don't post in all caps, it's against the rules.

Second there isn't a translation out (and probably won't be).

 

I have an R4SDHC and i can't seem to get it work. when i lood the wood firmware it jsut shows a blue screen on top an at the bottom a black screen with somebuttons and no text, can somebody help me ?

 

First it won't work even after you do the steps to let it work properly (since Wood is only for the original R4).

You CAN use WAIO (Wood All In One) (Google it), but I'm not sure if it works.

Ok i got it working finnally, it was working with TTDS menu in my R4 SDHC Upgrade but the evolution froze, glad i founf a jap one that works xD

Was gonna post a tutorial but was beaten to it xD

So now the only things i think left to "fix" is a translation patch...

EDIT: Oh and also can someone give me a link for a working patched black?, i patched it my self but no exp, also tryed a pre patched one so...

 

But who says it is gonna be done?

 

I use r4new 1.35 (http://www.r4new.com/index-en.htm) can you tell me if TTDS menu work on this card because i can't load the YSmenu.
stay loading and i can't see the games.
I loaded the flashcard and choose the TTMenu.nds and nothing(stay loading on a white screen with a little black thing on the corner)

R4New is an clone apart from R4SDHC and won't work.

 

does it mattter half the people who talk on da game tell you unrelated stuff anyway only items pokedex menu battles are really needed
