Pokémon Black & White AP Thread

Hmm, so, I think I know the reason why my acekard 2i is failing to run the games. On any of the roms I have downloaded, they all stop after the professors speech at the beginning of the game. So, yesterday, I went out and bought a sandisk 2gb micro sd card, which sadly did not work. I returned it, bought a pny 2gb sd card, which still did not work. So, I'm thinking the problem may be with my acekard. I don't know what would be the problem with it, and I just recently bought it (about 2 months ago or so), so, I'm not sure what is wrong with it. I also have a sandisk 4 gb which also freezes after the professors speech. I am also using akaio 1.7.1 and a ds lite, if that will help at all. It seems like I'm the only acekard 2i user who STILL can't run the games.

 

For my AceKard2I I just hex edited it with the code and I have firmware 1.6

 

See, I would do that, but, the only computers in our homes are macs, and they can't be updated to an operating software so they can use wine, so, I'm kinda screwed about hex editing my own roms. :/

 

Hmm..... I firstly patched the Pokemon Black ROM with Rudolphs blabla....

Then I wanted to do the HEX edit, but it keeps saying DATA FORMAT ERROR

Is this because I already patched it with Rudolphs?

I read some sort of tutorial, on how to get Black to work on R4 Revolution 3, but I'm stuck right there ...

What's up with Pong and Retro not uploading the fix for TTDS users? This is a popular game so it's apparent there's going to be whiners, but it's no reason to hold up the people that have been patiently waiting. It's good there's alot of people you want this fix.

 

No... you're good to go with the Child's Play Patch. It automatically hex edits it for you.

 

Any of the patches on page 1 work with desmume?

Child's Play Patch. Does that work with DSME? I need to know which patch has an effect is dsme lol, all the other Ive tried have failed.

 

umm. got an issue with something with the black rom, i tried both the patched version and the clean version of the rom and still the same results, so here it is:

when trying to enter the trade center in the pokemon center and well it saves and allows me to walk into the elevator it goes to a black screen and the music is still playing but it won't do anything, has anyone found a resolve to this

People whining and whining about getting an update for their newest game that doesn't work, They don't have to update it at all to please you. They did it using their own time.

 

You know what? I'm tired of half-assed responses like this. Yes, we whined about it. Congratulations, welcome to the Internet. If they honestly expected no one to whine, they're fucking morons. They took on the responsibility of updating the firmware, and now that people are actually expecting something from them, they don't want to update. If they didn't want to have to deal with this, they never should have made their FIRST update in the beginning.

People are lucky that they even created anything for the fucking outdated R4 and the DSTT. You people expect them to update the firmware they created so you can play your games.
