I have a feeling he's using the R4i-SDHC made by the creators of R4i RTS, which is a R4 clone (Red box R4i-SDHC is a DSTT clone, so it wouldn't work for us) since the R4 Neo firmware he uploaded was for an R4 clone.

Using an Original R4 with Wood v1.12 with a pre-patched (I assume hex-edited) with soft-reset disabled and the game works. I only got past the first couple of battles, got whatever the menu thing for the touchscreen is called in this game, and saved. I reloaded my save to check if it works, and it did. I also got exp for my first couple of battles.

I have no idea if it has any issues along the line, but the beginning, saving, and loading seems to work flawlessly.

I only tried Pokemon Black, but since the two games are nearly identical, I think the results will be the same.

EDIT: Ok, when I download this, do I use the kernal I currently have, or should I use the 1.35 English RAR that you uploaded?

 

This seems to be for Acekards. You probably have an Acekard clone, slayer.

Did you use Slayer's kernal (1.34 one) or did you keep your old data when you did this?

 

nope just the little micro sd card with a ? in it. i used slayers kernal.
