Pokémon Black & White AP Thread

I'll be testing this in a little while on Wood, I want to see if this fixes the freeze when you get the C-Gear.

I have been playing a patched version of white using universal childs play patch and i just gotten my c-gear no freeze yet.
Playing on -r4 wood v1.12

 

Did you turn the c gear on?

 

Will try it now mate hang on a sec. will edit if its fine or not

EDIT: ITS NOT WORKING I was having fun with the game this morning, just botted up the game and its frozen now

 

can be but it only happens with my pkmn white and pkmn balck versions all my other games save just fine and i hbeard people with the same flashcart and firmare as me wich got it working with exactly the same patch

Because your flashcart doesn't handle those saves correctly. Not all games are the same.

 

So atm there is no fix for the c-gear freeze problem?

 

anyone got a prepatched rom that works on r4sdhc ver 1.18?ive tried kingleo's rudoplh's and other patches and prepatches but no luck

 

i still think its starange then that there are people with the same flashcart and same firmware wich have the game working with the exact same patch as me

edit: it was ap after all i can save now using the universal child play patch hope it also fixes the exp thing

edit2: exp worksa as well only problems now are the music and the c-gear

 

anyone has anything for TTDS so i can boot it

 

don't mind about the c-gear. If you want to play it with c-gear, buy the real version just what i did......

 

there is a patch that fixes exp and i think freezing on this forum on one of the pages just dont remember where. it says it fixes the exp problem but i havent gotten a single freeze for 5 hours. it should be around page 30 something it says DL from the link and put in a code. hope that helps.

Well, I thought multiple users had reported being unable to save on the Edge. But as I search this topic, it turns out it was just you spamming the topic with the same thing every time (something like 50 posts). It's still not likely an anti-piracy issue causing your save problem, since if it was other carts would show save issues, rather than just the usual anti-piracy reported.

Backup, format, reinstall the latest firmware, etc.

 

AHAH I JUST FIXED THE C-GEAR PROBLEM.
When i boot the game theres some jappo writing with 2 boxes saying "yes" or "no"
I selected "No" and another box came up with somefin saying "c-gear" and the rest was all japanese. I then clicked "yes" game loaded without freezing.

C-gear- What does it do anyway lol?

 

hey guys i'm playing it on desmume yeah it works btw when u play with ur rivals u should get exp. but i got one problem when i saved the game and left to eat when i came back and played the game again the save game was gone ? any suggestions?

 

yes, but if we want to play WITH THE C GEAR, and turn it on, it freezing.
