I'm gonna try patching with Rudolphs patch again, to see if it stops freezing.

 

i can confirm that exp is gainable with this one on an R4 with Wood 1.12

well, i've only tested it up to after both the rival battles at the beginning
i don't know it there's any freezing at later points (such as C gear)

 

yes by firmware updates.

C gear is freezing with all cards i think.

dunno, but it won't play on the latest either.

 

Even if it isn't, it's unlikely it'll work. Anyone with errcodes will have to wait for new firmware sadly.

 

dstt doesn't get firmware updates i think. get ysmenu for dstt because it gets updated.

Okay when I patched with Rudolph's patch I get a freeze as soon as the Professor whatever her name is shows up. Now Im gonna try the pre-patched from the youtube link.

 

Ok, I have a problem. I've been downloading every black and white rom I can find, and, even if its patched or unpatched, i can't play any of them. The farthest I can get is to the professor, then, when she shows me my 2 other rivals, and it goes to a black screen, it freezes. This has happened with every one of the roms. I'm on a mac that is too old to use win, so I can't patch my own roms. I'm using Acekard 2i with akaio 1.7.1 on a ds lite. If anybody has any help to give me, it would be very appreciated!

 

Are you still using wood r4 1.12?
If yes change back to your regular firmware and WAIT for a patch that works for most or all cards.

I think it got updated recently i think.

 

C Gear didn't freeze on my AK2i...

 

to reiterate what i meant: when the person tries to give you the c-gear, if you say no then yes (the no making it so that it isn't tested) will the game not freeze there?
