Never update your dsi,dsixl firmware since the firmwares are to improve it and to stop flashcards, same with nintend wii's.

 

Does the r4i-sdhc work with that wood thing? I'm going to get a new flashcard, and the last one I had was an r4i-sdhc

 

Is reset off by any chance?

 

That looks like the one I use. I updated my DSi to v1.4.1 firmware and my R4i gold to the same version firmware. Not sure, but maybe it will work for you.

I was getting white screens before I updated my DSi's firmware, but then again it could have also been my R4i Gold that needed upgrading.

 

If I am using a R4I sdhc on DSI should I be using any special firmware (instead of the ones on the sdhc website) to play Pokemon Black or White? Or does it not matter?

 

i tried the one from filetrip 1.5 fix but i does not give exp.why is that ?

 

my firmware is v1.31...i dont see anyone higher than that

 

Wood won't work but the one made specifically for clones which is 1.05 might work for it. 1.05 is the last update for clones since it was a pain to make it compatable with the clones,

 

what do you mean with ysmenu, if i get that on my dstt card wil poekmon black or white wrok then?

 

Okay, those who are using R4 clones follow this little tut I made:

Download R4 Wood for Clones: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=221023

Then download R4 Wood 1.12 for original R4: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=39701.0

Take the "Wood For Clones.NDS" from the Wood for R4 clones and paste it on the root of your R4 clone.
Then tale the "_rpg" from R4 Wood 1.12 and paste in the root of your R4 clone.

1. Turn on your R4 Clone click the Wood For Clones.NDS.
2. Go to where your Pokemon Black, White ROM is and press Y and Y again press R untill you see "Features" then go to "Cheats In Game(AR) and turn it to "off".
3. Do the same with "Reset In Game" and turn it to "off".
4. Press Ok 3 times.

Part2
1. Press the Start button and go to settings.
2. Press R untill you see "Patches".
3. Turn off the "Cheat In Game(AR) to "off" again.
4. Do the same with "Reset In Game" again and switch it to "off"

Go to your ROM and press A and it should work.

 

Not yet but the next update or 2 will work.

Wood r4 1.12 won't work with clones. Yellow Wood Goblin gave up on clones.

 

Don't question it dude, just follow it and trust me.

ANYONE WHO HAS AN R4 CLONE OR R4i, JUST TRY IT. It worked for my N5 which is an R4 clone so just give it a shot.
