Just saying the hex edit for pokemon white skylar suggested on page 64 for acekard 2.1 does not work. (In the hex edit, the file you paste into the patch is the .nds file, not the whole .rar file, right?)

I did exactly this on my clean Pokemon black rom, but get the message 'Data Format Error'.
Did I do anything wrong? I simply chose the ROM (Which I got from GBATemp together with xdelta files that I DIDN'T use on it), and copypasted everything under the 'and this one for Black'.

Help.

First: I CAN ONLY GUARANTEE THAT THIS WILL WORK ON DESMUME 0.9.6. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING POKEMON WHITE. I cannot, personally, guarantee that this fix will work on any flash carts, on Pokemon Black and it DEFINITELY WILL NOT WORK ON NO$. SWITCH TO DESMUME, NO$ HASN'T UPGRADED THEIR STUFF IN FOREVER.

I extracted it with: winRAR (I really shouldn't have to mention this, but LOL I WAS ASKED]

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. DO NOT SKIP A STEP. IF YOU HAVE A WORKING, UNPATCHED ROM, YOU CAN SKIP THAT STEP. OTHERWISE, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM STEP ONE UNTIL COMPLETION.

It will take some time to patch the game. I KNOW IT'S HARD FOR YOU, BUT PLEASE BE PATIENT.

Once that is finished, THE GAME WILL LAG. But, fear not, there is a fix for this as well.

On the DeSmuME console window, do the following

Config>FRAME SKIP>Select "9"

Config>SOUND SETTINGS>Interpolation>(None. Fastest, Sounds Bad)

Yes, this will knock down the quality of the sound a notch, but look at it this way - the sound would already be bad without that option due to the lagging of the game.
