Why the hell is this in Emulation News?

 

Gee, I dunno, maybe because it's "news" (for many people) regarding "emulation". Excuse me if I've overlooked some crucial flaw in my logic.

 

I posted it in Tech Help for a reason. Since the n00bs or newbs that don't care about looking up stuff and post stupidly "whi cant i haz GBA gamz on mah NDS flashcardz!? OMGWTFLMFAOBBQ," soo many times in the forums. That WAS the purpose of the topic. Now since it is moved here, where a ton of people DONT look for TECH HELP, those annoying posts will continue.I t is IMPORTANT TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE FOR NEWBIES. Hence the reason of being in the tech-help topic. It is NEWS because it is NEW info to the readers.

Sorry if I went off a bit there.

Does anyone think this Supercard 2 thing is kind of a pipe dream right now? I mean, it was first announced last year, the only image in that topic looks like someone used the spray paint feature in MSPaint to draw over an image of the DSOne, and the only info is a list of possible features? It seems that people are getting excited over something that won't happen for quite a while. It's like getting excited over the CycloDSi, which is possible to exist since the CycloDS team got a modified version of their card to work on the DSi, but it won't exist for a while now.

 

SuperCard DSTWO is a project being worked on by the super card team, to fit their new evolutionOS. It was painted over though, since the actual design is not released. It was confirmed by a GBATemp admin.

 

I'm not saying it isn't a real idea. I'm just saying there are a few users saying "I'm holding off until it comes out!" a little prematurely, since no real info about it exists.

I hope if they do come out that they fix the menu loading times and that its under 30.00 dollars.
