I've just had 2 of my pictures put up in a local restaurant, and I'm so proud of myself What do you think of them? does anyone else like photography? - Ignore my absoulutly rubbish handwriting under the picture, where the price is.
although i have just finished school i used to do G.C.S.E. photography (thinking of taking it on) and i like that i was never a fan of macro mainly because all the plant close up's were don't in black and whit to "reveal the plant buds structure" it nice to see you keep it real because you get a range of beautiful colours in there =D
thanks everybody loads of people in the restaurant have complimented on it, really happy with the positive response, also, i can't afford a macro lens, i can't afford any lens at the moment, so its all done with an 18-55 mm http://www.flickr.com/photos/carnagephotography/ Thats my flicker if you would like to see any of the others, some of them are just playing around with camera settings as you can see.
[me=Born2killx]adds as contact.[/me] I guess this is a good opportunity to post my flickr. I haven't taken anything recent to put on it, but the ones there are some of my best.
My first thought was: it is kinda too dark for a flower photo. It should be more brighter in term of color and lighting. Was it digitally manipulated?
Well, if you knew anything about cameras, and settings and lens' etcetc, You would know that it isn't too dark, Making the aperture higher, and having the flash on, gives a black back drop while picking out the whites, The only edited part, is the actual whole picture had to be brightend, because when printed on to canvas. The whole picture gets substantially darker.
well sorry if i offended you. i asked that because my teacher taught me to provide back-lighting when photographing flowers... :-[ apologize from an amateur photographer
