    HA HA HA. No. There are far better known distributions than ubuntu, and they also have a significantly better reputation. Ubuntu exists purely for people who can't handle proper linux to be able to say they run linux. It is a joke of a linux distribution.

    ANY distribution can run ANY window manager. Just because some use KDE by default does not mean they cannot use gnome instead. In fact, if you pay attention during the installation of a linux distribution, it usually asks if you want KDE or gnome.

    @Loony: Ubuntu is made for the ease of computing.

    I know that you can use both right! I never said you could not. I only said my opinion on KDE...

    But hey, we are talking about opera here.

    you use IE which has pretty much absolutely 0 malware + Virus Protection, then u have no anti virus protection on ur computer... I'm, so frickin' shocked ur computer hasnt crapped out on you and blown up

    IE doesn't display web sites properly either. And leaks your browsing history/other information to anyone that asks.

    Ugh...

    I tried it and didn't like it. I wanted to use ArchLinux again, but forgot how to install it. :p

    Use a few more and see how you like it.

    You got to learn it...

    I used it for a day and I was not able to fully get back to Windows (as in terms of fast usability).

    Overall all browser are better than the standard windows ''E'' but some like firefox crashes a lot and opera doesnt have these problems or chrome

    Firefox crashes if you have all these tabs open and you're trying to get on YouTube on at least one of the tabs

    firefox 3.6.13 very rarely crashes for me.

    I've had over 400 tabs open without it crashing.

    Ha. SOMEBODY here sides with me.

    But in all honesty, I think it doesn't crash because you haven't had these tabs saved before exiting. Or have an active program like Adobe Flash on any of them

    All my tabs are saved, and some have flash, some are youtube and some are pdfs.

    You have a STRONG computer for Firefox not to crash, or Firefox is seriously that good.

    I can save that many tabs. Firefox won't crash but it lags on me often if I do things like that
