Great. First we worry about viruses, now we worry about the very law hacking us.

it is illegal, but those who make the law are above the law.

    :'( < 3 (broken heart...)

btw, when i saw loony's name, i thought maybe this thread got locked. usually what it means, for threads like these that could become a rant any moment....

I always thought it was Reider who was the Thread Locker. It seems that he's the only one on to lock threads. I've not seen many threads where Loony or Seph lock compared to Reider. Anyway.

All the websites I go to are stored in the ISP's database or soemthing, right? So when the law is established, will they count websites from that day onwards or past days as well?

It depends, if they are real **** ;D, they would count from past days perhaps?

That is very unlikely to happen. I think it's important that people do not panic, there's a lot of people here who seem to think the world is going under, and to be honest you're all over reacting. The ACTA is a problem, but it's not finalized and there's no guarantee it will be.

Agree ;D I hope that law would never be finalized ;D

And even if it does go into effect, just take it as a wake-up call to go out and get a job.

hey, I'm from Scotland in the UK :D, and i was wondering will ACTA monitor my ISP over here, or will it be only local to the US and Canada? In short, will I still be able to download stuff without being caught?
