the electoral college is judge by who wins the state and how those votes add up, so how many people vote for you does matter. but what happen that time with gore was a bit scary. there are many americans who feel there needs to be major overhaul with the electoral college if not completely get rid of it so its definitely on the minds of the people its just with everything going on that has been put on the back burner and most likely until something serious happens will be continue to be placed on the back burner. in fact it was said that had john kerry won ohio due to the electoral college he would have been president even though bush would have had a million more popular votes than kerry so you see its a bit of a problem. and if you remember kerry was not that far off from winning ohio.

Obama only won because he was Black(ish).... Black people are racist too, it's time for you to realise it!

Black people can't be the only ones considered racists. You have white people who don't like blacks, people who are Jewish, Asian and combination of nationalities. You have other races whom don't like the aforementioned races.

I for one am a combination of nationalities and proud of it. I'm black, Irish and Cherokee Indian. But, someone's race doesn't bother me. It's what that person does that may be out of character or not in agreement with me that I don't like.

thats ridiculous, a lot of the states he won had low black populations so how did he win those huh? if the only reason he won is because he was black then what happen with all the other black candidates that tried running for president before huh? oh wait i know they weren't qualified so blacks didn't vote them in as the democratic nominee, so i guess they voted for obama because he was the better candidate wow i guess the definition of racist has now changed. and statistics showed that black voter turnout did not rise significantly this election, it was the new voters that help take this election. ;D President Barack Obama ;D deal with it ;D

Actually it was not the black guy's votes that got him elected because there was not many of them. Reason being: black guys/girls did not want to vote for him because now they can't play the race card anymore. For example: a black person cannot say anymore "Why? because I'm black" or some other stupid comment like that because everybody else would just say "no, just look at the president, he's black and he was elected". Therefore, the ones that really voted for him were white dudes, that way they can be legally racist once again.

Here is something a friend of mine said pretending to be a KKK member. You guys should have seen him, it was hilarious. By the way it was a joke and not to be taken seriously:

Once again, everything on this post is a joke and not to be taken seriously or offensively. Hopefully you guys have a sense of humor.

Obama brings the possibility of change, a change that the US needs. I liked McCain as well and had a difficult time deciding on who to vote for. I felt as though if McCain had won we would have had 4 more years of the same. America needs change, I only hope everyone will support Obama in getting it done.

WTF?!! I was saying that White people aren't the only ones that are racist! Fecking hell...
Black people are rarely accused for being racist...

Here in the states, most African American males are murdered by other African American males. Sometimes it seems like they are racist against themselves.

    So. I hear McCain lost.

Imbeciles. He was going to lift your country out of the pathetic hole it's dug for itself, for you people, and you threw away the lifeline for an inexperienced man from a racial minority?

Enjoy your financial crisis. I'll be feeling it here, too. Thanks a lot.

No. Both candidates financial plans are shit. Complain to somebody who cares about your uninformed opinion.

What change? I'm still waiting for someone to explain exactly what he's going to 'change'.
He isn't changing anything that Bush put out there, that's for certain.
