Fuck, man. Like, how do you KNOW these things, dude. You, sir, are the Messiah! Independent '08!
Seriously, though, everyone has an agenda. Whether it be McCain or Obama, they all have their intents and purposes. We can't deny that. And, with this in mind, I've come to the conclusion that Obama is the better candidate.

Of course, with everyone being a tool, I'm not going to vote anyways or even vote for an independent (gasp). You know, since they have a large shot of winning.

I'd vote if I lived in a swing state.
CA is almost always a blue state.
So on voting day...I sleep in xD

    Hypr,

"They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets."- Obama Official Website

This means 3 of my hunting rifles would be outlawed as they were a few back. The anointed one is not for gun rights. Pick up a cover of American Rifleman or any other gun magazine and read before you see a caption in his "Blueprint for America" and think he is pro 2nd Amendment.

As for the rest of it, I'm beyond trying to convince anyone here that Obama is bad for America. He has been with radicals his whole life, helped build ACORN, wants WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION which is socialism no matter how you spin it, is against my freedom to keep and bear arms, and is going to turn America into very bad place to be in a matter of a couple years with the help of Reid, Palosi, Dodd, Frank, and Biden. All extreme liberals that defy how America was built. I pray that America has the strength to hold on for four more years hardship.

Thanks for being a thoroughly informed political master, but I believe Obama and Barr would like to have a word with you.

Just out of curiosity, what rifles do you own?

I recently changed my stance on the gun issues a bit as I believe there should just be tight regulations for owning an assault weapon via a higher class gun license. That way, assault weapons can be obtained by responsible, law-abiding citizens.

So? Palin's judgment could just be as bad, if not worse for this country once McCain kicks the bucket. Ever stopped and thought about what Palin has done so far in the past, like leeching off government money to balance the state budget? And also, just what the hell was John McCain thinking picking someone unqualified for his running mate? What kind of responsible judgment is that? I don't understand why anyone would vote for someone who demonstrates such brash thinking.

Let me be straight with you: I'm a right-leaning independent voter, but I don't care what the candidates' beliefs are. The qualities I look for in each candidate first is character, integrity, and judgment. Barack Obama so far nailed all three of them (and no, your false mud-slinging reports don't count against him in integrity and character as they have been debunked!), but John McCain unfortunately lacks in the judgment department by not just only voting Bush 90% of the time, but his choice of his running mate makes me VERY CONCERNED! I can't bear to think what John McCain would do to this country if he carries that mentality as President of United States, especially when he deals with diplomatic issues. Beliefs and values should be SECONDARY in terms of determining which candidate to vote for.

Most importantly, the main thing that deters me about McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, is that she's politically stupid. Her interviews with Charles Gibson and Katie Couric says it all about herself. My vote goes to Obama simply because we have a responsibility to keep stupid people away from the White House. Isn't it about time that Americans wise up and learn that lesson from the eight disastrous years we've experienced?

And by the way, if you are so concerned about the possibility of a one-sided political government, then why don't you vote to keep your Republican senators and representatives and urge other people you know to do the same? That's what I did.

Could you provide sources for the wealth distribution debunking?
I've already researched acorn and the 'friends with terrorists' thing and found them to be bullshit.

What do you mean in the bold statement above? Like you find them as liars or you think otherwise.

The wealth-distribution remark is not a damaging factor to Obama's integrity or character, but hardly damaging to Obama's judgment. Obama blurted that out as his belief when asked by 'Joe the Plumber'. But as Colin Powell stated, "Taxes are always a redistribution of money. Most of the taxes that are redistributed go back to those who paid them, in roads and airports and hospitals and schools. And taxes are necessary for the common good. And there is nothing wrong with examining what our tax structure is or who should be paying more, who should be paying less. And for us to say that that makes you a socialist, I think is an unfortunate characterization that isn't accurate."

So, the tax argument against Obama is null. Republicans are merely trying to twist that to paint Obama as a socialist. Frankly regarding taxes, it's hypocritical to focus only on Obama instead of Palin who has done worse things with our tax money.

Acorn is incapable of defrauding the voting system. Their 'fraud' registrations made up only 5% of the over all sign ups.
And the registrations are checked by the US government before people could actually ever use them.
It was blown out of proportion to make obama seem scandalous.

The 'friends with terrorist' crap tied him to Willaim Ayres, who was part of the Weather Underground.
Wiki it and you'll know why it's bullshit.

Good point. It seems like another thing blown out of proportion by the GOP.

Props to YOU, my friend. Vote for a candidate that let you keep ALL your (assault) firearms. McCain/Palin '08!
I respect differing political views, but I don't believe in a campaign literally BUILT on mud-slinging.

    Obama is a radical? No.
Obama is a socialist? You probably enjoy a free education. Tell me that's not socialist in any way.
Obama is against bearing arms? Already addressed above.
Obama's "people" are extreme liberals? Why, what do we have here? Extreme conservatives for McCain? Heaven forbid.

Yeah, campaigning by saying how the other guy would suck at being president doesn't really speak much for your own candidate.
