I got my new computer, installed bf2142 after finding the manual in the case of bf1942 ::)
Runs extremly fast with no errors! not even on a full 64 player server.
Didn't try the settings on high yet, but I think I'm gonna stay on medium, cuz it's fine for me.

Be best to try it out on High detail, just in case it actually works good, then you'd be missing out a bit.

If you don't want to spend much i heartily recommend the 8800GT. i can play crysis on high in 1024x768 keeping it steady at around 60fps.

Beware of bioshock, i had serious crash problems as well as save files corrupting. Not because of my system, because 2K gave up on the PC release and left massive bugs and holes in the game which means you'd be lucky to play it without a hitch regardless of how good your system is.

If any ones interested, there's a site i use which checks to see if my spec will run which ever game i chose to test. Google "PC requirements lab". You'll have to install a java applet but i've been using it for a few years now and it's never caused me any issues. It will tell you if you can run it and how well you can run it. If you can't run it on recommended or high it will tell you what the issue stopping you is but ignore the recommendations.

If you have the money, i recommend the cheaper of the two new Nvidia cards, i think its the 280. For the price increase the more expensive card isn't worth it.

I'm not looking for a new one, this one will do good for now, canyourunit.com says that I have 1.7GB Graphical power. Thats one thing I love from vista, use your RAM etc. for Graphical Power!
