Old age homes would stink...as if they don't stink enough already. Whether or not its right or wrong, the fact is it is illegal (at least in my country) to walk around naked and constitutes a legal wrong. You can get arrested and fined. That's all there is to it. I think it's there for a good reason. CJ made some good points (self-consciousness etc). People are not naked for a reason and I think that's a good thing. I wouldn't like to see every Tom, Dick (oooh...the irony) and Harry walking around with their swords hanging out. But I understand your point about the conditioning Elk. If we weren't conditioned in that way, we would see it is very normal.
To be honest we all where nude thousands of years ago. Also animals are naked is that taboo. So a bear can be naked but we can't. As long as there is a age limit against nudity I'm alright with it. Example you have to be 18 to be nude in public.
Why? That's discrimination. You're assuming that children being naked would incur some form of pedophilia uprising. But under the same logic, any nudity would cause a rape uprising.

The law is perfectly fine here, full nudity is crime or at a point were breasts, vagina, dick, ass crack are visible. And who gives about the definition for nudity we all know what the law is meaning by no nudity.
Actually in court or in any case it is VERY important to define exactly what the meaning to a specific word is. It's how one can find loopholes in the system. The meaning of words is very very important. You can't just say "we know what they were trying to say", its very important to get the exact intention of the legislator for obvious reasons.
That's because there isn't one. Nudity is only taboo because the body is presented as a shameful thing in most religions. Remember when Adam and Eve ate apples and then 'knew they were naked' >_>

And, where I'm from (USA), personally, I don't think you can be arrested if you're seen naked in your house. You can shoot up heroin or whatever in front of your window when a cops outside but they can't come in without a legitimate reason and a warrant. You wouldn't even have to answer the door and talk to them (5th ammendment nigga). Just a silently implied 'fuck off' will suffice. So, I'd assume nudity in your house is a-ok, popo couldn't really do anything about it.
Unless, we could somehow eliminate the health risks of being nude then we'll have to stick with clothes on. That's the only logical reason why nudity isn't quite all right with me. I don't want my reproductive organs to get bitten by mosquitoes while I sleep. Did that happen to me once? Yes, it fucking did.
Ok well i thought i should throw my opinion out there. Nudity should not be a criminal act, even if other people find it offensive. Performing an act that is somewhat sexual whilst naked in a public area is a bit different, such as if u were naked and you decided to run around a school chasing kids screaming "I WANT YOU IN ME". Well that is an extreme case but you get what im saying. But if you want to walk around the streets naked in a completely platonic way, then i dont see the problem. Theyre only tits/dongs/vaginas, people just need to get over this bullshit about nudity. Although i will say personally i wouldnt do it, coz i like my clothes, they be stylin'
