But I find downloading normally faster, 2mbps compared to like... 100kbps.

 

I know you refer to NORMAN, but I told about NORTON for prevent you install it

As I said before, you can use AVG or AVIRA that are free, and esay to use

 

Sorry then, thought you were talking about Norman, since your opinion on Norton is almost like opinions on Norman.

 

Like I said on msn, they vary...from amounts of seeds, to what the individual speeds of the seeds, to...well your own speed.

do you have no-cd cracks on your pc? most are "considered" viruses and if you "backed up" any of those it might be why it did that to your system restores.... since you didnt have to pay for it i'd use it... have you even contacted norman and asked why? they look as good as any anti-virus, but i think they all suck..... just not as much as norton or mcafee

i dont use any of those programs though, i did all my internet exploring on windows 98 back in the day so i rarely go to any site that i dont know. i quit using them because they eat up CPU and i always have to disable them or "allow" my programs/games to run.. i wouldnt really worry about an anti-virus program unless you're not the only one using your comnputer

if you wouldve asked me like 3 years ago i would have told you Avira antivirus was the best but now i dont know.. avast was crap in my humble opinion


torrents appear to be slower because of seeding.. you can have 100 peers but if their upload limit is 3kb/s you not gonna get a 2mb download speed obviously. directly downloading it will always seem faster because you aren't waiting to connect/locate peers from 5 different countries
