I always keep the good games on my hard drive and delete the horrible ones.

Luckily I downloaded some of them before this happened...

Besides, The Pirate Bay is still around along with dozens of torrent sites and other misc. rom sites.
It's not like the games are unaccessible.

Like how the people who rip the roms don't work for RomU.
They'll be around.

 

Well,what ESA is doing is kind of pointless now,since it's like trying to take down a Hydra on steroids

 

Except this particular Hydra is compliant and will lay down if you ask it to

 

I knew this day would come... I was wondering how the site survives the ESA.

 

Romulation said that nintendo was getting less purchases because of romulation. Romulation thought it was better for people who can't offord stuff like games, but it was a bad thing for Nintendo. Try to download a NDS game and it'll notify you.

And this particular Hydra is still alive because the companies do not have enough energy to kill it off.

hello all, i've been following since this post came up, and i was wondering since i haven't heard anything about it....even if the roms get removed from the download links, are we allowed to post our own uploads of specific games on the forums? because i was lucky enough to get most, if not all of the removed games....so i may be able to upload like 3000 games when i get the time. 0_o with an 8terabyte harddrive, i decided to stock them all. so if were allowed to post them, let me know, and ill upload as many as i can.

 

You can put them for download in the Share Section.

But just wait and see what they take down and what happens.

 

so even though their removed, as long as their on another hosting site, their allowed, am i correct? so i guess my main question is, why doesn't romU just keep the DL links section up, but keep all the downloads on an external file hosting?

 

Because they didn't want to use a separate download server besides their own...

That's why they have dedicated servers for downloads.
And what separates RomU from most other rom sites.

 

but i remember, i think it was a couple months, maybe a year ago, romU has at the bottom of the downloads page, external file mirrors.....so i just figured maybe they could add to those again.....but i guess that is one of the things that makes romU the best!
